For a few examples of problems.

Weak Tackling
Poor Secondary Coverage
Minimum Pass rush
Defense against the rush.

Not a knock, just what I saw this year. Bama's weakness was Poor Secondary Coverage and a very average Pass rush.

Why argue with a deluded bunch of grade school age bammers? They act like a bunch of dang girls making silly comments that have no factual basis. Flame on you idiots. The truth of the matter, is that this is a home run hire and will make Auburn much better on the defensive side of the ball. This makes as much sense as hiring Kiffin, which was a good move on Saban's part.

You inferred that I said it made no sense to auburn? I wasn't. Was saying that the defensive problems (yes they exist, otherwise auburn wouldn't be on it's 4th DC in like 5 years) are likely from some other source. Basic trouble shooting. 4 or 5 systems all have similar power problems and all connect to the same power source, it is highly likely that the power source is the problem.

In respect to bama and Kiffin. Bama had serious problem with play calling last few years.. Pass first down for in completion. run second down for 2 yards. 3rd and long... Watched it over and over and over. Bama was not on their 3rd OC in 4 years years. had they been on 3rd OC, I would say that the problem was with the School/System and not the OC.
