i am scared we will put up almost 700 yards of offense on you next season like we did on florida this year (who also incidentally scored on us pretty much only off turnovers)

What evidence do you have that the Gus doesn't care about defense? In his time at Auburn he has been playing defense with one hand tied behind his back. CWM has some work to do to up grade the talent.

When you're the one that ties the knot, I'm not sure you can use that as an excuse.

Most AU fans won't admit this but defensive recruiting has been sub par since 2007. What is the reason for that?

Because Gus does not emphasize defense? Or he's recruiting against Nick Saban and stuck with left overs?

You have to build momentum to recruit, and Auburn is known as a school where defense is an afterthought. That's no one's fault but the head coaches.

Maybe this will change things, but I doubt it.

Ah it's starting to make sense now

A man can do a lot making 1.6 mill over 2 or 3 years until his career suicide takes full effect

Gus got on campus in Dec. of 2012. How is he responsible for the defense at Auburn since 2007?

you have not finished outside the top 10 in recruiting the last 4 years, and in that time frame you have recruited 2 5* LBs and a 4* LB, 5 4* DBs, 1 5* DT and 4 4* DTs, 1 5* DE and 4 4* DEs

Bro your recruiting classes were higher ranked than ours and other schools that were ahead of you in total defense this year.

Ellis Johnson had more talent to work with at Auburn than when he actually had a very good defense...

Is that how this works? I guess that means Gus will continue to put up 500+ yards on Saban then, since, you know, it's happened a few times.
