So you are somewhat confirming what I stated

This is a great example of what I think he was trying to say. People don't know who to compare him to or how to take him because he doesn't fit neatly into a preconceived box.

Unfortunately, I am reading between the lines because he isn't a clear thinker or speaker in pressers.

So, did anyone call Brady a "thug" when he had his on air tirade with an official? You can rationalize it any way you want, but the term thug is almost exclusively used to describe black men.

I don't think Cam dancing and celebrating "scares" anyone. Does it piss some of them off? Yes. I don't think anyone is running for cover when Cam scores TD's.

"It s funny that since the doubters thing has been brought up, people act like they knew he would always be good.

Prior to winning at AU, it was he cant hit the broad side of a barn. he sucks. transfers never do good.

When he was drafted in the NFL, he will be the biggest bust of all time. His team hates him. All these others QBs are so much better than him.

Yup never any doubt from anyone "

I don't like Cam very much. Really hated him after our SECCG but it's died off. He's still a huge douche though.

Go Broncos!

Cam is controversial, but the narrative is that everybody hates Cam. A lot of people hate Cam, but a whole lot of people love Cam and/or love to laugh at the people who hate Cam.

Honestly, I think more people hate Tom Brady at this point than hate Cam.

No, what you said was about people questioning his ability in college when he transferred to Auburn. Go back and look at what I actually quoted. No one ever questioned his ability in college from an ability stand point. It was mostly the off the field stuff. Never once said he never had doubters but it wasn't because of what was going on the football field.

What's wrong with what Urlacher said?

Dozens of former players have said all kinds of things about Manziel.

That isn't true. OM was fresh off a much hyped and failed juco transfer qb experiment and many assumed the same result would happen at AU.

congrats, you somewhat know how to quote

I think you are again having a hard time with reading and comprehension. Remember this, projected thoughts in your head are not always what you are reading.

Can you point out where I said "everyone" or the like.

you and Cam are the only people that see Gronk as celebrated by all and Cam vilified by all.

Cam wouldn't be doing umpteen commercials on TV if he wasn't liked by "white America."

This is just a little more of NYC's "selective memory"

You would be wrong. He came to Auburn with the idea that he had a cannon arm, but tended to be very inaccurate and did not have good vision down field. Now if you are arguing that nobody doubted he had the physical skills, then I could agree with you, but there were doubts about him otherwise.

Again, the fear is he becomes the face on the NFL. He is doing it his way, and the establishment does not approve.
