What you guys fail to see here is we have won a ton of games and even played in the MNCG two years ago with a bumbling idiot calling the plays. Imagine with our talent what we will do with a professional.

To say we are excited about the hire is an understatement.

It's ok to be scared UGA and aTm. Prepare you anus!

What's to know about Cam?

He was the OC of the Super Bowl Champions but was so bad he was fired for having a vanilla playbook and not listening to coaches to open it up more.

Exact same shite LSU has had on offense for years now, offense will not change with Cam, just another vanilla OC that doesn't like to open it up or listen to coaches.

We are 33-6 the last 3 years with no offense. You figure it out.

The infamous LSU cop-out. Can't answer questions honestly or accurately so you use a six year old trophy as a trump card.

Pretty much the equivalent to a kid taking his ball and going home. Sure, it's your ball and not mine. But running away because your feelings got hurt makes you look like the arse, not me.

ETA: This has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, just a general observation.

Until Leslie takes a step back and stops pretending like he understands offensive schemes, stops meddling in the offense and trying to call plays it doesn't matter who they hire...........

Did a Georgia fan just make a subtle dig about winning big games? Lol. Interesting and ironic.

LSU has won more big games than anyone in the conference in college football's modern era.

LSU is 22-2 over the last 2 regular seasons and is the winningest program in college football over the last 8 years since Miles' arrival... And all that is with a mediocre/shitty offense. Just imagine what LSU will become if they get merely incremental improvement and execution on the offensive side of the ball.

Things CC will bring:
-one "voice" for the offense, the offensive leader we've been lacking
-same overall philosophy that we currently run, not a complete overhaul because LSU is elite already and doesn't need a complete overhaul
-offensive execution and discipline will undoubtedly get better
-great relationship with miles which will finally result in miles handing over the offense completely to the OC
-overall "IQ" of our offensive staff (and probably then the players) goes up
-experience needed to come in and develop Mett, and more importantly Rettig and Jennings

Will it work out? We shall see. But on paper cam Cameron is a slam dunk grand slam homerun addition to lsu's staff.

We went indefeated and won the SEC with JJ/JL and our makeshift OC.

More than anything, most of us are excited about QB improvement/development.

But a slightly better offense goes undefeated 2 years straight.

Who all do y'all lose again? Serious question.

If you are looking for a serious answer, my opinion is that Mett's game is already there ... when he is in Tiger Stadium. He needs to improve on the road, for sure. He needs consistency.

None.

Is this really a question?

LSU just needs to be slightly less predictable, and we need to perform at clutch moments. We had Alabama beat this year but couldn't ice them. The offense lacked the killer instinct.

We need a little creativity, and a lot more poise. If Cameron can bring that, we'll be tough to handle.

I should also point out that LSU will have some new weapons next year.

Quantavius Leslie is a 6'4" speedster transferring from JUCO. Georgia fans should know him, as he is from your state. Dude has Demetrius Byrd-like speed. He can burn almost anyone off the line, and he has the size to be an endzone threat. This guy is the missing piece in our WR corps.

DeSean Smith - big, tall, fast hybrid TE with great hands. Will split wide at times and present serious matchup problems for the defense. Yes, he will play as a true freshman - partly because LSU lacks TEs and partly because he is that good.

Also don't forget that we return Alfred Blue, and Terrance Magee and Kenny Hilliard are chomping at the bit.

Factor in the fact that our top 4 returning WRs have a lot of experience now (Beckham, Landry, Boone, Wright) - and you start to get the picture. LSU will be very good on offense next year.

Florida is LSU's permanent opp. from the East. I guess that would be easy to miss since its rarely mentioned in these parts.

Cam should bring in Jordan Jefferson to provide valuable insight into destroying the puppies in GA. 42-10

well we were able to half of those teams last year with a shitty O, so i guess we just need to be atleast as good this year? idk

beating bama will be a tough task for anyone but if anyone is able to play with bama it has been LSU other than the debacle in new orleans

this year we get florida in baton rouge, should be another slug fest, we just need to do anything offensively in this game and it would be better than last year

judging from the uga team i watched last year and the year before, run up the gut on UGA they tend to quit in the 2nd half

but for the record im not one of the LSU who buys into Cam Cameron... not that it matters though

LSU wins games on Defense and special teams, anything we can get on O is extra at this point
