Cam Cameron vs UGA in 2013

How will he mold and craft Mett and Hill into an unstoppable machine that will destroy UGA in Athens?
What assistants will he be replacing? OL coach, RB coach, QB coach, or will he pretty much just take over the play calling, or, like, what exactly will he do that will help LSU win big games against Bama, Texas AM, Georgia?
Florida on your schedule next year?
Hell.. lets throw Ole Miss in here so they don't feel left out.
This post is part troll part serious question.
What, specifically, is this guy going to do in 2013 to make you win the big games?

Whatever it is that OC's do I suppose.

Unstoppable? Getting the O from a consistent ranking in the 80's up to the 30's would be great.

The JJ juggernaut did well enough in ATL last year so it shouldn't take much.

The rumor mill over past few days has been Stud strictly OL but perhaps some othere duties so it's not a demotion. Krag to an administrative job. Not sure yet.

UF and Ole Miss are on schedule every year...not quite sure what you mean.

LSU has won big games with a tepid O of late. Perhaps Cam will make it a bit easier. Just have to wait and see.

Unlike UGA we have seemed to do just fine in that department over the past 10 years.
As for Cameron he will bring a decade of NFL experience where his offensive schemes performed at a high level. I expect being back in college where LSU will have a large talent discrepancy his game planning will work even better.
Also for those saying its Les' offense they should look at the differneces in scheme from 2006-2007. Two coordinators two completely different offenses. Les lets people run what they want if he trusts them. Considering cam was in Les' wedding there is reason to believe he trusts him

Even LSU fans don't believe they'll have a top 30 offense next year.

People tend to forget Miles has been around the block and knows quite a few people. The years at Michigan as a player and coach when the program was truly elite, the contacts he made there, in the NFL, and other places. Les has known Cam for 25 years or so I believe.

01. That's not what I said. The qualifier 'consistent' denotes a process, a time period. I thought it obvious.
02. How do you know?

In all fairness, it depends on how big of a step Mett takes. Talent is there, how is it being developed with OC gone, new OC, what's the deal with qb coach, etc.
Mett has potential, if he takes the next step, LSU's offense will be dangerous.
But until then...
Mett is a convicted sex offender and a mediocre quarterback, and Cam Cameron is probably getting in a little bit over his head, expectations are high with LSU fans. You don't get 3 years to work it out and fully implement your system, you win, and you win now.

True. I don't know that LSU's woes last year were systemic. Most of OL replaced due to injury, WR's dropping passes...seems to me the guys simply need to perform better, which is desire and practice. We'll see.

1: The majority of top-30 offenses every year either run a version of the spread, hurry up or both. LSU's style is both traditional and plodding, which simply by it's nature rarely leads to high-powered offenses in terms of total yardage.
2: Zach Mettenberger doesn't have it in him. Even if he did, LSU fans are probably convinced it's illegal to throw for more than 3,000 yards in a season.

But you guys recruit so well, and own your state. Why are your receivers dropping passes, and the best quarterback you can field is a Georgia native that Richt personally kicked off the team for playing grabass, underage drinking, fighting with bouncers, fighting with cops, pleading guilty to all of the above?

Disagree. At best, they are completely different and not comparable. People forget that NFL coaches typically get 1-2 months off a year written into their contracts. College coaches do not.

Look, it's too late for this. You're a UGA fan. Feel free to talk shite when you have crystal to back it up with.
