How bad does it suck to know that the best season cant touch anything we have done this decade and you also got beat by us when our QB had 90 yards passing?

I guess enough to where you spend your life trying to flame and convince people on the internet that your program has some sort of relevancy.

LSU's only title under Miles was more a result of circumstance than anything. I believe they are the only BCS champion with two losses. Georgia actually finished the regular season with a better record this year than LSU did in 2007.

What I'm trying to say is maybe don't have quite so much hubris over a fortuitous title in a year you lost to fricking Kentucky and unranked Arkansas.

Look, it's too late for this. You're a UGA fan. Feel free to talk shite when you have crystal to back it up with.

So you have a national championship more recently than UGA, congratulations! That's awesome!

So how is Cam Cameron going to streamline this LSU offense, with all of the incredible talent, to make a run for the crystal in 2013? Specifically, through Athens?

Or are yall just going to blame Slive for fricking you into failure by forcing you to play UGA in Athens, because it won't be Cam's fault... it will just be his first year, why expect more, it's all Slive, etc.

Meh, your best accomplishment was a two-loss national title in which you had the same record as us this year with worse losses. A&M simply didnt get as lucky.

Don't act like your title was some glorious feat. The 2007 national championship is a prime example frequently used to reason a playoff system.

It baffles me how so much pride can be derived from a two-loss title handed to you through the results of numerous other games.

I've been an LSU fan for a lot longer than for

And call it chance, luck, good fortune, or whatever the hell you please. But facts are facts. We have crystal in the trophy case. From conference championships to national championships, and not just during the era that you decided to start paying attention.

All of which would have probably beaten both this year's LSU squad and 2007's.

Ok, not KSU. Maybe not ND. But everyone else.

Glad this was brought up... when UGA won it's SEC championships this last decade, we weren't lucky enough to have 3 other teams lose, so we didn't get to play for the natty. Sucks, but that's what it is. LSU and Bama have been lucky like that, though, recently. Good, and deserving, but luck had plenty to do with getting into the NC with a loss or two.

Back to the topic, how will Cam Cameron streamline this LSU offense that is packed with talent from receiver to back to QB to OL to center, how will he focus them, and take them to the next level? How will he get through the schedule with TAMU, Ole Miss, Bama, Florida, Georgia?

What are the keys to his success in 2013?

Bottom line: LSU was clearly the best team in 2007.

Nobody who loses to Kentucky and Arkansas can claim they were the best team. Those two teams combined for ten losses.

People rag on A&M for doing "nothing" in our "best season ever" and ut two losses were to top-10 teams with a combined 3 regular season losses.

0/10.

2 loss title 1 loss title 3 sec championships 4 SEC championship games 3 BCS CGs 4 BCS bowls is what you cant touch. Take pride in the cotton bowl and one win over bama though. Its cute.

Unfortunately for you I'm a little different than most on this board in that I don't pretend to know more than people who are paid hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars to do these things. I can sit here and give you all the reasons I believe we'll win. But it won't matter. So how about we just say that LSU has not had a hard time with beating UGA recently, and I don't expect that to change.

See above. LSU will beat UGA handily.

Again, all non-undefeated champions are fortuitous.

Sure. But if you can't see the difference between one-loss Bama with a loss to an eventual top-5 team and a two loss LSU defeated by two 7-5 teams then you're turning a blind eye to the discussion at hand.

I'm not sure I could even take that much pride in a national title "earned" in such a way. A&M had a better regular season this year than LSU did in 2007 and we werent close to title. It would feel so hollow and undeserved.

What? That both teams needed some serious luck to get in?

Spoken like someone who hasn't won a championship in a while.
