An associate AD is above an assistant coach. Bama fan you have some logic in that he has not been chargered YET, but this involved a recruit and that provides an advantage for Alabama.

These people, if guilty, should go to jail.

Hugh Freeze and his rub and tuggers are thanking the Good Lord Above for Alabama and Auburn basketball over the next few weeks.

He's definitely a crooked SOB, but let's not stretch the "high ranking" bit. Especially thinking that Avery works for him.

What? It's the same situation as Auburn. The kid was already signed with Alabama. They weren't recruiting kids to a school, their goal was to recruit kids to an agent for post-college.

The only difference is that Auburn's coach is red-handed black and white caught taking money from the suit guy and giving it to a kid/kids parents that is an enrollee/signee of Auburn. Alabama's doesn't appear to be as cut and dry (yet, at least).

My point about Institutional Control is in reference to a high ranking Administrator being involved.

I don't think anyone other than Louisville has an loic ssue.

As far as Bama goes, need to wait and see if there is even a NCAA violation first.

At the time it happened (August 2017), I believe he was a current player.

Plot twist...Person is actually the FBI informant undercover as being arrested and he set up the sting operations to bring down everyone, hence why he’s the only staffer named in this mess not to be fired

Now where, just where have we heard this before? Seems some guys from some other SEC team were spouting off the same thing not long ago.... I don't think it turned out that way for them.

Was Hugh Freeze hired directly from the NCAA compliance and eligibility department?

You mean the high ranking admin we hired directly from the NCAA compliance department? You tell me....how does the NCAA accuse a university of LOIC due to the transgressions of a man who worked for their own compliance department 2 years ago?

Well, the best tax guy is the one that used to work for the IRS...knows all the loopholes.
