Bo is definitely in the discussion.

That was a "Did I just see that/" moment.

5 mlb seasons... made 1 all star team lol. Greatest athlete my arse, and this is based on pre-injury. Those 170+ strikeouts in one season were impressive for the era.

Bo was the GAOAT and it not even close. He was the Jimi Hendrix of sports as far as untapped potential.

A case could certainly be made for Bo. He was a great athlete. For me, he could easily be named GAOAT, because he played two of the major sports, not just a major and one or two "minor" sports. Deion Sanders would also fit the bill and could be in consideration. (Although certainly a different TYPE of player in both)

A drawback for Bo would be his relatively short career. He was spectacular and showed immense potential. I don't think he would have been the greatest of all time in either sport, but certainly the best to play both.

To amuse himself, Bo hits what would be the 5th longest drive of the year for PGA Golf tour, if Bo was on the tour.

From 6 weeks ago at celebrity event.

In Deions words, "he extended his right hand and placed it on my helmet like he was praying for me. He then palmed my helmet and stiff armed me down on his way to the end zone like I wasn't even there. That was my Bo Jackson moment".

Did Jimi Hendrix pull himself from concerts because "I don't feel well."

Bo was the greatest until someone laid a good lick on that arse. Then he became the most scared of all time.

The greatest of all-time is not one who sits on the sideline because he got his arse knocked off a couple of times.

Anyone that says Bo isnt the GOAT is either too young to see him play in person or is an idiot. Even though I'm a Bama fan, Bo is one of my favorites.

You're the fricking idiot. I saw him play and pull himself from games after getting popped a few times.

You think being a Bammer gives you some sort of extra legitimacy?

Not legitimacy a-hole. My point was that Bo went to my hated rival school. Any more insults you need to get out of your system this morning. Dick.

Well, I would hope a defensive back would not win with a running back very often. But they were both very good at their sports. Deion was one of the best defensive backs/returners in the game. Bo was....Bo. Very good. I wasn't saying deion was better. Simply that they were both very good at two of the major sports.

Make no mistake...Bo is one of my all time favorites.

Keep putting your middle school girl emotions on every post you little bitch. Does that give your posts more legitimacy? Dick.

You're the one that came in here calling people idiots.

Come in tossing insults then get your panties twisted when someone hands it back to you. What a moron.

Poor Deion. You know the last thing he wanted was a 1 on 1 with Bo. Prime Time was the defenition of light armor. It's hard not to like Bo. He seems like a legit good guy. I'm sure we overestimate his ablility to some degree given that his career ended in it's prime, thus we never saw the decline. But he did had never been done before...at least not that I recall.

You're a real piece of work.

You come in calling people idiots, then pitch a fit when it gets handed back. Quit crying like a punk.

bo Jackson was the best athlete ever. no debating it. In fact, he's the best running back that I've ever watched.

I might agree with the first statement although I never got to see Jessie Owens or Jim Thorpe in action. Bo was definitely a freakish athlete and is a good person on top of that.

As far as being a running back goes, Bo was the fastest I can remember but there were others that impressed me more with their running skills. Walter Payton, Gale Sayers and Barry Sanders come to mind.
