Career was vastly to short for me to agree with that. He had potential, but that is way over the top.

memory starts to fade over time and his career was so short but the longest home run ever hit in royals stadium was hit by Bo and it was his first home run, just think of how many players have hit there and a kid who is primarily a football player walks up and hits a ball further than anyone else ever has ,then goes to his other job and has the longest rush from scrimmage in the NFL 3 of his 4 years in the league.

Would be between him and Herschel if the criteria was just "he was a great athlete for a short time". If "all time" means accomplishments, he wouldn't be that high up. Injured too much. I'm a Bengals fan, but when I saw that tackle, I got sick inside. I knew it was over for him.

bo Jackson was the best athlete ever. no debating it.

In fact, he's the best running back that I've ever watched. just a pity his career was cut short or he'd own every fricking record there is to have.

The most amazing throw I have ever seen came from him. Gunning down Harold Baines at home from the Left field wall was astonishing. the throw

In terms of pure athletic ability, I really don't see how it's up for debate. Bo was a 6'1", 230 pound man who ran in the legit 4.2s, could hit a baseball 450 feet and had a 39" vertical. He was all-state in FOUR sports in HS. I don't think there is any doubt he could have been one of the greatest ever in track, baseball or football had he focused on one sport and not been injured. That hip injury robbed sports fans of what should have been one of the all-time sports gifts.

I still say him throwing out Harold Reynolds from the goddamn warning track when Harold was already halfway home before the ball left his hand is the most impressive thing I've ever seen anyone do on a baseball field.
