Actually, I'll be relieved, knowing LSU didn't get screwed out of a title shot.

I think if you guys cheated to get Cam, you need to get in trouble.
i believe most auburn fans believe this to be true as well. the ones i have spoken with say that if the deal turns out to be true, heads should roll on the plains.

shite guys... Bama got a fricking STEAM rolling of hate when we got busted for some frickin TEXT books... no one let up then... (of course it wasn't like this... but we got our fair share of negative attention for "cheating" and being caught being unaware about some textbook shite that is so irrelevant that i've already forgotten all the details to)

i thought when you said to me "are you naive enough to believe there weren't other schools' involvement?"

Nope. I said:

You'd have to be pretty naive to think that this story just came out of thin air.

I was addressing anyone who thinks that nothing will ever come of this whole ordeal, or is assuming that everyone is safe from consequence.

ETA: Now I'm just confused. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that both of the internets are experiencing technical difficulties today.

Yeah sucks that UF was my 2nd favorite team. They still are, but I hope CUM gets canned for being an all around arse hole.

I think Auburn people are pissed at the 2 sided nature of the media. There haven`t been many even keeled articles or media outlets. I think its because the original reports were so unfounded that the other side(pro auburn) had to come out swinging. Auburn can only say so much because of the investigation so they depend on their friends in the media to spread the word.

Auburn knew about this story since January.

And again in July.

You'd have to be pretty naive to think the head of our compliance office, who SERVED in the NCAA Enforcement office, didn't look into every crack before letting Cam take one step on the field for Ark St.

if the ncaa found out that schools were bidding for a young man's services but lost out, youre damn right there would be penalties involved. what would they be? hell, the ncaa makes this stuff up as they go along, they couldnt even tell you right now.

horseshite. When Alabama got in trouble for Albert Means, other school were bidding for him too, including tennessee. And they didn't get in trouble. The NCAA does whatever the hell they want. They don't even always follow their own rules

Which is why I hope nothing gets tied to Tennessee. Who knows what the hell they'll do.

right, so they could very possibly throw the book at everyone involved, even the low bidders, to set an example.
