I'd buy it.
But instead it should be called Grand Theft Auto: The Red Stick.

Also, NO crime>Br crime. There is a big ole billboard in BR claiming to have higher murder rates then Chicago.....not sure why they put that up though.

Just like every city though, these murders are pretty much sticking in one part of town. Its not like you have gangs walking the street doing drivebys in the Garden District.

.....well....take back first thing I said. You will get shot anywhere in ATL.

Only one of those links claim to say what you posted.

quote:

New Orleans now has the highest per capita murder rate in the country.

Where is the factual data on this? It'd be a lot more believable if they actually went more into detail like the link I posted earlier did.

This one is 2011 says Detroit.
This study done by the FBI just last year says Flint, MI.

to be fair I would live in New Orleans before I would East St. Louis, however neither are desirable.

I am sure there might be suburbs of New Orleans that are safe, just like Birmingham(hoover) and even atlanta (buckhead)

Well Buckhead isn't really a suburb, it is part of ATL. But it has actually gone a little downhill as of late. It's still nice, but now you move completely out of ATL.

I was gonna call b.s. if Hoover, Mountain Brook, Homewood, and Vestavia Hills weren't in the top 10.

The ham metro is unbeatable.

Well the subject of that link wasn't necessarily finding the murder capital of the US but rather the most dangerous city.

I didn't see NOLA in the top 10.

So what has this thread turned into by page 7?

Are a bunch of people from LA trying to say how much better it is than AL?

That sucks. I know Mobile has issues, but I like Mobile. A big reason is its proximity to beaches and Nola though. If I ever move back to Alabama, I'd either live in Mobile or a Birmingham suburb. And I guess huntsville wouldnt be bad. No where else though.
