Best part of Alabama is the east Bay area (Daphne, Fairhope, Foley, Gulf Shores, Robertsdale).

Hoover really is a nice area. The schools are awesome.

Seriously should have just named that "The Whitest Places to Live in Alabama."

Another thing that I noticed. Didn't Auburn just have the FBI hanging out because of points shaving in basketball?

Six of the ten are metro Birmingham area. Howemood? Really, have you ever been to the Greensprings side? It sucks . . . and Alabaster has been and always will be the most racist city in the metro area.
By the way . . . Al.com sucks donkey asses.

Agreed. I lived there for a year, and then immediately moved back to Hoover. Homewood was awful.

Hoover is nice, Birmingham itself is a cesspool.

Oxford would probably be on the list if not for its close proximity to Anniston. The school system is top notch, the surrounding landscape is absolutely beautiful (nestled in a valley), and average household income ain't too shabby. Plus there isn't that much crime.

Does this explain why recruits love Auburn?
It doesn't explain why they like to rob people at gun point. Imagine how high on the list Auburn would be if they could get rid of the football team.

Talk about a tallest midget competition.
I'd vote for Perdido and along the coast to Gulf Shores. Can't imagine living in Bama though, that would be the suck.

Homewood > Hoover
Hoover is too damn big. Only negative thing Homewood has is Valley Avenue and a tiny stretch of Greensprings.

Neither could I. I lived there all my life and finally just got tired of the scenery. I'm kind of jealous of the young kids who go to school at the high school now. That facility is top notch. I went to school in a building that hadn't seen any kind of renovation since the 1950s.

It's not a gym, it's a "sports arena".
