Larger gap than I was expecting. Feeling confident that we're in if we win next week.

Probably and MSU isn't that good. Even their defense, which is good, isn't as good as people are making it out to be.

I think OSU wins pretty comfortably.

Michigan didn't suddenly put something together offensively this late in the year.

Yea I found that comical. tOSU have no shot at beating anyone in the MNC

I think the only way that OSU wins and does't make the national championship is if they look bad and they squeak by MSU and MSU doesn't look good either. Than Auburn (or Mizzou) wins in convincing fashion, I mean like 3 or 4 touchdowns game seemingly decided by the end of the first qrt.

even than .027 is a tough margin to come over when you both play top 10 teams.

Why? What unranked team is better?

Pollock is spot on in his analysis.

I do not think we jump OSU next week if both win though AU is better than OSU.

Agree on both points. You are better than tOSU, no question in my mind. But if you don't jump this week, then I don't think you jump next week if both of you win. A lot of people think Michigan State is a legitimate team, so I don't see people boosting auburn with a win over Missouri considering tOSU's opponent.

It will be bullshite if it worked out that way. I'm afraid auburn needs the Spartans to pull it out.

Great news with NIU. They won't be BCS bowling even if they go undefeated

if I could represent how the percentages will look with a graphic it would look something like this

#1 FSU

#2 OSU
#3 Auburn

#4 Alabama
#5 Mizzou

Yep, a strong AU win and a weak tOSU win, who knows? (still think bucknuts get in)
A strong Mizzou win and a weak tOSU win I don't think Mizzou has a chance.

Yep. But frick it. I can live with it. Been a great season and we have our hands full with Mizzou that could easily beat us anyway.

Why not? They need to jump two spots, and stay ahead of UCF, right? Doesn't seem like that is out of the question.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. This situation is a case in point for a playoff system. I feel perfectly sure saying Ohio St is not a Top 2 team in the country, but you also can't have undefeated teams not having a chance to play for a title.

#1 FSU (12-0) vs #8 SCar (10-2)
#2 Ohio St (12-0) vs #7 Stanford (10-2)
#3 Auburn (11-1) vs #6 Okie St (10-1)
#4 Alabama (11-1) vs #5 Mizzou (11-1)

Obviously those records are going to change with next week's games, but you get the point. Anyone who doesn't want to see that for a postseason is delusional.

41-30

Also, if Ohio State wins they will be in regardless of what Auburn does.
