If you switch the computer rankings of Auburn and OSU, they are essentially tied in the rankings with OSU having a small edge.
Auburn needs to jump them in the computers and steal a chunk of votes.

I don't think they do. It's a shame, I would love to Auburn continue the streak, but there is far too much regional media bias.

tOSU < Stanford-upset-
AU < Okie St-upset-

I don't understand why so many people feel like it's unthinkable that an undefeated team fall behind a one loss team. auburn lost to a better opponent than anyone on tOSU's schedule. auburn beat a better opponent than anyone on tOSU's schedule.
Nobody in the country thinks Ohio State would be undefeated with auburn's schedule right now. But because they happen to be undefeated against weaker opponents, they "deserve" to go? Why? Why penalize a team for playing tougher opponents?
FSU's schedule is shittier than tOSU's and will be even shittier after next week. And I would put Wiscy up against most SEC teams this year.

Is the SEC really that good..or is it a smoke and mirrors show? The Big 12 has always been known as a joke of a conference(much like the Big 10) but A&M last year and Mizzu this year come in and wreck shite...Just curious how this can happen? Did they all the sudeen become much better over night since they joined the almighty ?

Regional bias is what got Alabama into the champ game against lsu

There is no way a 1 of 2 undefeated BCS qualifier will be left out of a title game. FSU vs. tOSU if they win, however MSU has a good chance to knock them off.

Question is does Bama really need Duke to beat FSU. If MSU beats tOSU and Mizzou beats Auburn does Bama stay ahead of Mizzou. I doubt it but I have seen stranger shite.

SO only 1/2 the SEC is relevant? Man college football is really in the shitter anymore

There is a pretty big difference yes. You can draw a doable schedule out of the SEC East. The SEC East as a whole was also riddled with injuries this year.

You can put them up all you want. That doesn't mean anything.

Fans of shitty teams in the West tell themselves this so that they feel better about being shitty teams. The reality is that Auburn needed a miracle play to beat UGA, the 3rd place team in the East. And UGA beat the 3rd place team in the West.

I don't doubt that you would. But they lost to every decent team they faced, PLUS Penn State. So that opinion is just bullshite.
After looking back at the BCS standings, auburn will get a nice bump in the computers for beating Missouri over your game with Michigan State. This thing will be tighter than you think. You had better hope the human polls give you more of a gap than you had this week, because next week you will see auburn jump you in the computers.

I can't imagine it. The human polls will vault Missouri over Bama without question, and the computers will adjust. Our only hope is Duke.
BUT...Cutcliff has Bama ties! Go Dave, get er done!

Sweet loss they had to Penn St yesterday, fagwad.
I hope you're excited to "put up Wiscy" against LSU next year, who will beat them next year despite breaking in a new QB.

The only way AU jumps OSU is if they beat Mizzou by 30+ or if OSU loses to Mich State
The latter is more likely to happen IMO
