Auburn is close enough that they have a shot at jumping tOSU win a win in the SECCG.
Missouri will need to win the SECCG and have Michigan State lose.
'Bama needs tOSU and FSU to lose for a shot at the Nat'l Champ game.

I think he is correct. Auburn lost 1 Ohio State nothing.
No matter how much better Auburn looks then Ohio State it will be very difficult for auburn to go to the championship if Ohio State wins.

Auburns still 3rd but a win over Mizzou could do it. I'm not concerned. I'm not gonna cast stones after experiencing 04'.

I don't think we would jump OSU if they win. That .027 gap is not insignificant.

you were one of 3 unbeatens.
this year is different two unbeatens you lost one game. Its hard to say you should be ranked ahead.

I would view it more as retribution as opposed to hypocrisy if y'all jump OSU

We are going to have to dominate Mizzou to jump OSU and I doubt we can do that.

Of course, Auburn's done more than OSU. But you have to honor undefeated. As soon as you lose, you don't get to whine until everyone else has lost.
Auburn people can whine about 1983 (sorta) and 2004. Hard to whine this year -- let's just beat Mizzou and see how things shake out.

Herbstreit is embarrassing himself. I don't know if we'll jump OSU if we win next week, but Michigan didn't suddenly put something together offensively this late in the year.
