Obviously those records are going to change with next week's games, but you get the point. Anyone who doesn't want to see that for a postseason is delusional.

I'd rather Oklahoma State go than Alabama.

I don't understand why so many people feel like it's unthinkable that an undefeated team fall behind a one loss team. auburn lost to a better opponent than anyone on tOSU's schedule. auburn beat a better opponent than anyone on tOSU's schedule.

Nobody in the country thinks Ohio State would be undefeated with auburn's schedule right now. But because they happen to be undefeated against weaker opponents, they "deserve" to go? Why? Why penalize a team for playing tougher opponents?

Just the way it is. But I was surprised at the small gap. I think AU might have a chance to jump, I don't think Mizzou does.

It's going to be a great game. I'll have flash backs to the Big 12 days.

The problem for auburn is they are coming off the momentum of beating the #1 team in the nation and Ohio State squeaking past a weak Michigan. If they don't jump now, I don't see them jumping with another big win while Ohio State beats the toughest team they've played this year.

Hope I'm wrong. Well, I hope Michigan State and Duke both win...but then I wake up.

Michigan St schedule

Vs W. Michigan 26-13 w
Vs S. Florida 21-6 w
Vs Youngstown St 55-17 w
Vs Notre Dame 17-13 l
Vs Iowa 26-14
Vs Indiana 42-28 w
Vs Purdue 14-0 w
Vs Illinois 42-3 w
Vs Michigan 29-6 w
Vs Nebraska 41-28 w
Vs Northwestern 30-6 w
Vs Minnesota 14-3 w

Exactly who have they played for everyone to call them a good team. Their schedule is worse than tosu. AU should jump tosu from sos alone. Their one loss came to Lsu at night and no one beats Lsu in the valley at night.

Well if 2/3rds of it are polls, how vastly superior would Auburn have to be in the computer polls to overcome it? Ohio States computer strength will be helped with a win over a top ten team this week to boot. It isn't unthinkable because people don't think they are better, but human polls always give the undefeated team the benefit of the doubt.

Can't go by what's on paper. On paper Alabama is better than Auburn, but the Iron Bowl proved otherwise. Or maybe it didn't. Maybe Auburn was peaking and Alabama played down, and if you played that game 10 times, Bama wins 8 of them, since they are in actuality the better team. Still, everyone has ranked Auburn above them because you give them the benefit of the doubt because they won. Same concept.

I was hoping for a smaller gap. Jerry Palm was wrong again as he had AU #2 in the computer ranking and a margin of something like .0036. If AU wins big and OSU struggles we have a chance.

It would have to be style points. AU big, tOSU ekes it out. But for both AU and Mizzou...Sparty getting the upset is a possibility. Duke?

If Auburn Beats Mizz and Ohio State beats Mich St, Auburn is going to end up being the most fricked program by the BCS since its conception.

Two times being left out when they deserved to be in both times.

Is coming… The success of the SEC is going to hurt Auburn this year.

That might be the nicest thing a Bama fan has said about LSU all year.

I get you. It's just the absurdity of the system we play under. If you never lose a game, and never have a chance to play for a championship, something has clearly gone wrong. Auburn fans know this better than anyone. 2004 was a complete travesty. Let's just be glad that next year, the bullshite will be slightly less then it is now.

I think most would pick AU to beat OSU and really think AU is better than OSU. Almost positive AU would be favored over OSU in vegas. AU is a known and proven commodity at this point, OSU really isn't.

But too many voters are currently voting OSU higher due to them not having any losses.

No doubt. I think almost anyone would say OSU would have 2 or 3 losses with AU's schedule. But doesn't matter the way the voting is going. Just the way it is.

I disagree.
If you want legitimate complaints, you should have won all your games. Once you lose, you don't control your destiny. It's pretty simple.

It's lining up for 2004 all over again for either Auburn or Missouri.

Is the SEC really that good..or is it a smoke and mirrors show? The Big 12 has always been known as a joke of a conference(much like the Big 10) but A&M last year and Mizzu this year come in and wreck shite...Just curious how this can happen? Did they all the sudeen become much better over night since they joined the almighty ?

It's funny that people aren't talking about Mizzou. They have almost the same chance at playing for the BCS championship game as Auburn. Both have to have OSU lose. If they do lose then the winner plays FSU.
