I'm not saying they definitely wont, but their resume just isn't indicative of a national seed, period. People need to look beyond just that overall resume indicator. They got to that through not playing many bad (RPO 200+) teams and playing a lot of road games, not for actually winning weekend series against good teams. For your typical national seed they will have about half as many weekend series wins against "good" teams...and beating the good teams should be the very major factor in deciding national seeds.

TCU has solid OOC scheduling and wins

@RPI 25 AZ State: won 2/3
RPI 20 Rice: won 1/1
RPI 1 Dallas Baptist: won 1/1
@RPI 1 Dallas Baptist: lost

Dodgertown Classic in Los Angeles
Won 2/3 against RPI 26 USC(loss) 2 UCLA(win) 14 Vandy(win)

They've also played 20/48 games on the road/neutral
