Talking about being national seeds. I'm not sure why I said host. It's Monday.

Correct. I should have said national seed, rather than host, to avoid confusion though.

Sunday game with UF will come back to haunt VU on selection day I"m afraid. Losing Stone to Tommy John has been such a big blow on the bullpen.

Still laughing at the throw from the left fielder Saturday for Vandy.

DBU only played OU once, but they are 2-3 as of right now against these teams.

I was going off memory. Still impressive scheduling. They had BU on there too, but they turned out to be terrible.

No kidding. How do they get all these teams to go play at DBU?

Despite what the records, rankings and RPI say, they will never let 4 teams from the same conference be national seeds. It sucks because at the end of the year the SEC could have 4 teams that have earned a national seed and at least one, maybe two, of them will get shafted.

It is a short drive for TCU and BU. Not sure how they got OSU to come to them though.

How often was Tanner playing for his tournament life in the SECT?

we're just hoping he cares about beating USC-Upstate come Tuesday the way this season has gone ...

for the record, Holbrook's 2-n-que at Hoover his first two seasons, each time a 4 seed. the highlight is a 12-0 mercy rule loss to State last year.

Gamecocks were put out each time by the 1 seed (VU/UF) - who also happened to lose their respective Hoover openers. Holbrook may want to check his lucky "rabbit's foot" in his pocket - it might actually be a skunk's foot.

Edit - apparently USC is 10 and would face 7 Ole Miss, with 2 Vanderbilt waiting...

SEC NCAA Invites sub .500 league record
2014 - TAMU 36-26(14-16), UK 37-25(14-16)
2013 - TAMU 34-29(13-16), UF 29-30(14-16), Bama 35-28(14-15)

South Carolina 30-22 (12-15)
Boyd's World RPI - 57
Warren Nolan RPI - 58 & SOS 38

...at least it's not 65

Added Baseball America.

If we go by the polls (I know it doesn't work that way), with regionals 2 weeks away, the SEC has 3 to 4 top 8 teams.

Did I miss something? I could of sworn Mizzou was looking pretty good a couple polls ago. Did they complete shite themselves over the last month or something?

After the sweep over Auburn, Alabama has some life again for making a regional. As slim as it still may be. The reward is getting Vandy after a midweek game against Mercer. Will defintely need to steal a game at the SEC tourney.
