WTF, why is there so much damn butthurt about a Top 10 placement/order in a Baseball PreSeason thread? This is pretty frickin' ridiculous, there are SOO many games b/w now and the end and it's just a Pre Season Ranking poll...we talkin' 'bout PreSeason?!?!
However, anyone who is mad about USC being ranked as the lead SEC team in this PreSeason poll, and who can't just come to terms with it just being a PreSeason poll...SC won 2 of the last 4 National Championships, finished Runner Up another time, went to the Super's under a 1st year HC against the #1 seed and has had better recruiting classes almost every year during that span. So yes, it's legit.

Yeah if 0 titles is the standard msu must have a shitty program currently and historically. In fact, by that standard they are about the 5th best program in the SEC.

Sorry -- I deal in tangible matters. And kids being good highschool players and/or had a really good tournament when Kendall Rogers was watching isn't what I describe as tangible.

Who would you prefer that I compare him to then? Smoke is the best possible comparison in college baseball in the last decade or so. You just don't like the comparison because you know where it ended in that Smoke ultimately failed at LSU. He was JUST as good in his first year as Holbrook -- and even took them to Omaha in years 2 and 3. So, again, please use facts to invalidate the comparison -- if you can?

We're not worked into a frenzy ... we're loling though.
The only think we'll see for ourselves soon enough is Ole Miss having a better baseball team than MSU this year ... because I know for a fact they've recruited better recently.
I put you grinders somewhere in the middle of the pack in the West, behind LSU, Arkansas ans Ole Miss ... and maybe either Auburn or Bama.
But yeah, you may bookmark this thread, if you wish, and come back in five months to rub this post in my face. I doubt that's gonna happen though.
