My question is -- what has Carolina done to deserve being ranked ahead of LSU and us?

Gee, I dunno. I have a feeling that a team that won recent back-to-back national titles compared to a team with one recent CWS appearance can play the trump card on you.

Miss State finished 10.5 games behind the SEC champion in a 30 game season.

We've been winning at a consistently high level even before 2010

When was the last time an ACC team won it all?

FSU Clemson and Virginia win like 50+ every year and choke at the end of the season.

Indiana made the CWS last year and return a ton including Schwarber (sp) their catcher who batted like .450 with 20 HRs

You LSU fans really have MSU in your head. Glad to see the rivalry back.

Chad Holbrook coached how many of those teams? Smoke Laval part deux.

Past success without looking at actual rosters is an idiot's manner of defining the future in baseball.

But, hey, I was the idiot when I told you how good that MSU was going to be last year too. How many of you fricktards are laughing when I tell you that this team is better than last year's team?

This is a better overall Mississippi State team than the one that went to the brink last year.

And LOL at you trying to use a ridiculously imbalanced SEC schedule as a crutch right now -- when you will probably be the first bitch crying about our easy schedule this year.

Did you get permission from the Arkies to use such verbiage?

That's what this is about Chad Holbrook LOL

. Look this ain't football. You can't automatically assume this team is going to take a step back because ray tanner ain't in the dugout.

Yeoppp...

Pretty good for what I expect to start out as our midweek guy this year.

Hearing Woody was touching 97 and Lindgren is back into the mid 90s as well.

So the real Miss St is the one we saw the last month of the season, not the first 4 months. We will see how that plays out.

Yes, yes, you can. But explaining it to you would be long-winded hopelessness about how a team takes on a coach's personality and that plays a larger role in defining postseason success than how talented they actually are.

Most of these LSU fans could tell you all about it if any of them actually had a front row seat for the Bertman-to-Laval transition -- which given the nature of their responses in this thread, I highly doubt.
