That's good. It looks like we are starting to care more in basketball. You care about 40 million in profits worth in football. About 2.5 in baketball and some unknown deficit amount in baseball.

Jay Jacobs has been on a spending spree lately, largely because that - performatively speaking - the 2012-2013 season was sooo bad in the big three sports, finishing last or damn near close to last in the SEC.

Jacobs opted to make significant investments in all three with Malzahn, Pearl, and Galloway (two are poised to make Auburn some money, one is meh) with all the costs incured from buy-outs and shite. Spend money to make money.

And the only ones complaining are LSU and Bama Fans. AU use to try to squeeze every dime they had, which gave us the likes of Lebo, Barbee, Bowden, Chizik, Beard Eaves Col and a JHS in decline. Jabobs finally realized you have to spend money to make money, he will see those results starting this year.

I'm special because you made an analogy and don't have the brainpower to pick it apart?

You're saying Auburn is the better football program because they beat LSU last season. Does that also mean Ole Miss has a better football program than Alabama? Arizona over Oregon? State over LSU?

I mean this is your logic we're talking here.

Congrats I'd rather lose money and actually do shite in the sports that people care about.

What sports that people care about is Auburn doing better than sports where LSU makes a profit?

Lol, that is completely irrelevant. If Auburn were asked by Bentley to assess how a reduction in state funding by 35-45% would impact the school, a similar answer would be given.

Bottom line is: Auburn poor.

No I didn't, I said too bad LSU can't win the only metric that matters.

Don't know how much of a difference it will make, but I think they are using a new ball this year.

Baseball is extremely enjoyable at the park and mostly awful on tv. This is even more true of college baseball compared to MLB. As such, it will likely never generate much revenue.

Considering college baseballs history I think it's a wise move.
