I would think numbers like this would give an AD a pink slip over time. Isnt this two years in a row where the athletic department had a loss. Last year I think was a small amount. After next year I don't see top tier school having an excuse for losing money with the SECN

IIRC, Like $50 million in football, $7 million in basketball and $2-3 million in baseball.
Our AD gives a shitload of money back to the university annually and we still manage to finish in the black

not really poor considering auburn is probably top 10 or 12 in revenues. problem is they might be number one or close to it in expenses

are they still paying on Wayne Hall, Dye and Little Bowden or has all of that been resolved?
No, we have a separate fund for ex coaches and recruits.

Can I get a link?
Only thing I found showed big profits in football, small profits in men's basketball and deficits in the other sports.

Damn. I'm not sure how much these numbers really mean though. Is the network included?
Also, these programs have donors with deep deep pockets, so this is really nothing.

Too bad you're about to shut down half the university.

How does this compare to LSUs overall financial trouble?

Does this include all revenue streams?
This is a non-issue or trolls just trolling.

AU spend more than 7 million on Team Travel (BCSNCG) and Coaches Severance pay last year. I do not AU Fans have a problem with either one of those expenses.
