I think AU takes this one but it will be close for a while. As far as UL's D last year, I think they were ranked in the top 10 up until the bowl game?

Look at their schedule and decide if they would be considered a top 10 Defense.

Dude , I love the effort and the solid post, but that's a lot of work to say Auburn wins by 17+.

Advantage Auburn Fast

Oh, and rb, yeah we are better. We are elite at rb. Our 1-3 are all elite IMO.

Oline is a huge question mark, the biggest on the team IMO. Center is vital in our system and makes all the calls. We have a brand new one who has never played the position. Second, no one knows how well Kozan will hold up after his back surgery. Third, how much has colemans pass blocking improved?

A lot of connections and tie-ins between the two HCs and programs: Petrino was courted by the Auburn Cosa Nostra back when Tuberville was still the active HC. Meanwhile, Malzahn was the short-lived OC at Arkansas under Nutt, who was succeeded as HC by Petrino. Malzahn later was the HC at Arkansas State while Petrino was at Arkansas. And both HCs are offensive-minded coaches.....

by no means is it a "huge" question mark. Not even a concern tbh

Actually, there arent many concerns this year at all.

Oline is my only real concern.

We are stacked at all skill positions including qb.

Defense we are good at all positions, though thin in the secondary depth wise.

Oline, we have plenty of talent. That isn't the question. The question is guys that haven't played together as a unit, have not played a position before, returning from injury and so forth. IMO, our oline will be pretty good based on talent and Grimes alone. However, oline is so important, I think we need really good (last year they were kinda good) if we want to make a serious run and reach our potential (SECC).

Yet, Gus just said today that this is the deepest OL group he has had in the past five years

Honestly, there is nothing to worry about this year

Hamstring slowed him a little last week, but he will definitely start vs UL.

No doubt. Once you tear a hammy, it never completely heals. I'm sure it will limit him sometime in the season

I disagree in three areas RB and OL,DL.Auburn has best d line in nation, not Alabama, they lack a dominant pass rusher. NFL scouts in love with Dontavius Russell and he hasnt played after redshirting at DT.Carl Lawson, Davente Lambert,Keymiya Harrell back from injury and Adams in a battle with juco Maurice Swainand might be a back up.Juco Devaroe Lawrence also being talked up and Jauntavius Johnson at 330 will be used on run downs.Auburn has four elite rbs and Radcliffe alone can compete with three five stars and three fours counting the HBacks.OL has Five 5 stars plus Kozan and Golson,Louisville gutted at oline.

I orginally had this close but with defense shutting down offense in first scrimmage and then played solid in second scrimmage with Lawson,Adams sitting out I think Auburn wins big.45-14...I dont think Auburn gets challenged till they play Ole Miss.
Holy shite

We don't. But I think we're good. And that's a 10x better than what we fielded last season

Its incorrect.

We will be solid but some guys up there are new. No really experience but tons of talent and decent depth...

Lots of expectations at this point but they will need to prove it.
