So, that's a lot of digging. Is your hole deep enough now? Can we start throwing the dirt in on top of you or would you like to be buried deeper?

They still had over 450 Offensive rebounds.

18-19 Auburn: 9.9 offensive rebounds per game.

20-21 Alabama: 10.1 offensive rebounds per game.

You are impressively bad at this.

THE ORIGINAL Statement from SOG was AU was a bad Offensive Rebounding team. The stats show they were 71st out of over 300 teams. They toward the bottom in Defensive rebounds, but were 4th in steals. If you are going to use stats, know what you are looking at.

AND AU WAS 4TH IN THE COUNTRY IN 3 PFG MADE.

Stats are there, look at them. The shoveling is trying to us Bama Stats to take away from SOG original statement. And the BCJC is trying to come out an support it.

Probably didn’t like the way Auburn handled his injury. I imagine he probably felt like he could come back sooner and Auburn kept saying no.

Doubtful. His parents had to come down to live with him for a couple months after the injury. Rumors that he actually fractured his skull too. He couldn't study, look at bright light, etc for a while without getting bad headaches. It was a very serious injury.

I think he may just want to get back closer to home after this.

The Bama team won't be sitting at home watching the SECTourney & March Madness from their sofa's.

Uh, no it wasn't. It was that they were a bad Defensive Rebounding team.

Auburn's Final Four team was one of the worst defensive rebounding teams in the country.

My bad, we were taking about the 3 point shooting and protecting the glass, I just naturally thought we were talking Offensive rebounding. Also AU was forth in the Country in steals, so the Defensive Rebounding was compensated by that stat.

It could easily happen. The tournament is a fickle mistress.

The same Auburn team that was a blown ref's call away from playing for a national championship was also a missed jumpshot away from losing to 12 seed New Mexico State in the first round. It's that uncertainty that makes the tournament such fun.

Bama could pull a Michigan State/Middle Tennessee and lose in round one or they could make a deep run. Either way, it won't change the fact that every single thing you've attempted to argue about the statistical differences between 2018-19 Auburn and 2020-2021 Alabama has been completely wrong.

Yep, the prior year's team was actually a better regular season team, but hit a string of bad luck in March. The Final Four team got scorching hot at the right time.

Fun fact. We lost the rebounding battle in every game of the NCAAT that year EXCEPT for the game we lost.

I’m convinced you are just shooting from the hip. Oats has stated numerous times that he doesn’t want his guys to shoot a three until the ball touches the paint in a possession. If anything he’s more of a drive and kick guy than Bruce, which is saying a lot.

Bruce's philosophy is and always has been to simply play with pace and allow total freedom in taking the shots his players are most comfortable taking. He encourages them in the offseason and between games to work on shots he sees them having the ability to make, and designs plays to get guys to their comfortable spots, but that's the philosophy.

He had a very bad concussion.

Maybe he was homesick.

Good luck to him.

Flanigan will be a stud by the time he leaves AU.. just watch and see.

I like the way Flanigan plays because he fits the Auburn spirit and hustles from one end to the other, but let’s be honest, his jumpshot is atrocious. He needs some serious mechanical work. Powell is 10X the shooter that Flanigan right now. Not saying he can’t improve but he has a terrible looking jump shot right now.

Lulz, we will see. If the SEC changes the transfer rule, he is heading home and wearing Kentucky blue.
