Would you rather me use BAMA in the sugar bowl.. 2009??? They lost a OT due to contacting an agent... As deep as they were, it cost them the game. That was one OL

Actually they lost Mike Johnson early in that game to an injury. So they were down two OL both on the left side.

I keep seeing posts that says the defense is going to be good and much improved. You basically have the same players back from a unit that finished 78th in the country giving up 400+ yards per game. Please tell me where you see this improvement?

Is it through a "schematic advantage"?

14 of Auburn's 22 starters are upperclassmen.

9 out of 11 on defense are upperclassmen.

I don't know if I'm buying the "we're young" argument any more. The offensive line certainly is, but the team as a whole isn't nearly as young as the Auburn fanbase and coaching staff have been proclaiming.

Logical yearly progression would point to the fact that they'll be better than they were last year. Add to that the fact that they get an instant upgrade at DC, and I don't see how they won't be much better. They definitely won't be worse.

Actually being in a college weight program year round? You don't think there is a big difference between freshman and sophomore year? Or sophomore to junior? Plus a much better defensive coordinator.
