Cass is now #2 Mike on Rivals

ETA: And Mincy is still behind Davis. Wonder which one is correct.

Forgot about him

Will also be interested to see what Jarrad Davis and Javier Mitchell eventually bring to the table. At least there will be some talent out there in the 2 deep

As soon as he is gone AU's defense will get much better. He is very athletic, but he seems to constantly launch himself into the wrong place.

He actually led the team in tackles last year and got much better about wrapping up instead of going for the big hit as the year went on. He's a senior this year, so I think he realizes the importance of actually being fundamentally sound instead of going for the knockout every time. At least I hope he does.

And I don't think our OL is gonna be as garbage as some people seem to think. Sullen and Slade both started last season. Dismukes will be back and Robinson and Young are absolute freaks physically.

You return 3 player with game time experience. What happens if 1 or more of those guys go down? According to the depth chart, it's freshmen that will have to step up.

Speaking from experience here. MSU had much the same situation as you do, had a decent OL and was able to move the ball against you. Then in that game lost 3 to injuries. one was for the season.

As a result, the season went 6-6 with talented WRs and RBs. Ballard could hardly run because the young OL was not shedding blocks and getting into the 2s.

You are:
1- extremely thin.
2- very inexperienced with your starters.

That's my only point.

Oh I agree completely. If injuries hit us we lose the little experience we have. My point was I actually think as a unit they will be better that the group last year. Robinson and Young are both more talented than Greene and Moseley.

Do I expect us to have some rough nights? Of course. There are gonne be plenty of freshman moments this season. However I don't think we are gonna be absolutely garbage up front

Would you rather me use BAMA in the sugar bowl.. 2009??? They lost a OT due to contacting an agent... As deep as they were, it cost them the game. That was one OL..

The upside is they will gain a lot of experience this year! You should be very deep for the next few years.

I like Nosa as a person. But as a player he is average at best.
