32% of Alabama's all-time games played were played against the Top 15 in all-time wins in the sport.

Alabama's record against the Top 15 programs all time in wins is 224-151-19 (57% winning percentage).

You've got us there. Only 17% of ours are against the basketball top 15. We're 239-131 against them which is 65%. Still, a large part of theercentage disparity is of course the fact that we play over twice as many games. In that context it's comparable.

What is crazy about that is that all those programs are the best in the nation. Pretty fricking remarkable. Except for Lady Vols basketball.

Yea, both are in the Top 2-3 of their sport nationally and head and shoulders #1 in the SEC.

I'm gonna say Kentucky probably, but its hard to compare apples and oranges.

But then again, its basketball, so who gives a shite?

Kentucky basketball

Has had a singular elimination tournament longer (approaching 100 years)

Has more competition in pools. Easier to fund basketball team than football team so more good basketball schools.

With 1 and cones, harder to build multi year dynasties like Saban has been able to build in football.

Did the pollsters retrospectively ship y'all 5 trophies in the 80's?

The AP has given us 10 overall, 2 more than the closet runner-up Notre Dame with 8.

Yeah I gotcha.

But I do have a legitimate question - do you know how the trophy situation worked prior to the AP poll? What represents those titles in the Bryant Museum? Are there trophies?

You mean like the 1930's Rose Bowl teams?

I think we just have the Rose Bowl trophies if I remember correctly.

And the Rissman Trophy for at least 1934.

Yeah didn't y'all tie in 34 or 36, can't remember which. Also the 41 title. Who awarded that?

Kentucky basketball is the equivalent of USC football, a very dominant program beating up on a weak conference. So I guess if you take Kentucky BB, you also have to believe that USC has a greater football program than Bama.

Congratulations on completely ignoring every single factual thing I've already posted in here and adding your ignorant opinion on at the end. Appreciate it.

Went 11-0 in 1934, beat Stanford in the Rose Bowl 29-13

Went 8-0-1 in 1936, tied Tennessee 0-0 and finished ranked #4.

Houlgate, but it is ridiculous and should be thrown in the Black Warrior River
