Sunhogs meltdown will be something to watch next year should Mizzou have a good season.

I could careless how Missouri does because the odds of us meeting in the championship game are much slimmer on your end.
Plus, what happens when all those Texas kids on your roster don't get to play around home anymore?
I just enjoy having another school north of us with less money, less football history, less facilities and less studs from their own state. I'm all for adding teams who have a bigger up hill battle than us.

What exactly are you talking about? Arkansas and Kentucky are the two worst recruiting states by far in the SEC.

We had a massive total of 5 in-state players sign with BCS conferences this year. In comparison, Kentucky had 7, Missouri had 16 and Tennessee had 24.
Dont let the facts hit SunHog too hard. I mean Arkansas makes it a priority to come to Missouri and recruit. I guess Petrino is just wasting his time since we have no in-state talent.

Missouri has less money, worse facilities, less in-state studs and a non comparable football history to Arkansas.
Suck it.
Hmm.. 315 miles from Dallas or 600 miles from Dallas which one sounds better for Texas kids? Especially when you tell them Missouri will play on the other side of the country.
Thank you for making Arkansas richer by joining the league.

You are using a recruiting website rankings compared to difference makers who were ACTUALLY drafted to the NFL. Wow!
NFL Players since 2005 by each state.
Tennessee 20
Arkansas 18
Missouri 15
Kentucky 11

You do wish you were 300 miles closer to Texas talent, had our history, fan base and money.

You said In-State College recruiting. Not NFL Talent being produced by Colleges. Great you had some players leave your state and become studs at an out of state college. We are talking about Instate college recruiting. I would think this isnt over your head.

Only a dick stroker from Missouri would compare Rivals.com to the NFL.

Difference makers. Anyone can sign an average kid from Missouri and Arkansas to ride the bench for each team and count as In-State.
Says the idiot who compared the NFL with Rivals.com. Unreal.

You start off talking about how fertile the recruiting ground is in Arkansas and how our HS produce no talent, then go to talk about random NFL stats than range from Starting Fullbacks to Field Goal Place Holders. Im done.

and the spin continues...
Just ignore him man.
He will manipulate and create strawmen.
He does it every time. When recruiting rankings suit his argument and opinion they are a perfectly valid citation to include. When history suits him its perfectly valid but yet shuns Mizzou posters who bring up anything in the past (cotton bowl?)
Now he mixes in some ad hominems to go along with his strawmen.

You continue to look stupid.
1. Use google.
2. Go back and read what I wrote. I never once said Arkansas was fertile recruiting ground.
Hint: reference the tier post associated with wins, teams and recruiting.
Making them quit left and right I love it.

I mean im just dying laughing here. He argues about our lack of HS recruiting. I give him comparison ratings of our top players. Yet to him a random last round special teams player holds the same weight as a Top round player. No ratings or anything. Like I stated earlier. There is a reason Arkansas recruits Missouri, but we dont do the same. He can take that as a flame, but its the truth. Arkansas is not on the same level as Georgia and Tenn. in in-state recruiting.

Let me just copy and paste my original post.
Most fertile recruiting ground Alabama, LSU, UGA and Florida (3 with national titles) with the most money putting them at the top of the conference. Wins usually back these facts up.
Middle Recruiting grounds and second tier money *Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansas and South Carolina. (2 of them with national titles)
*Auburn is in excellent recruiting area but is the second name in the state.
Great recruiting ground but less money and facilities MSU, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
Least recruiting ground and middle money Kentucky. Missouri will fit into this category so how will the results be different?
Did you notice the trend and how those teams have finished up in the rankings the past 10 years?
Now who has put more NFL players (that win you championships in this league) since 2005?
Tennessee 20
Arkansas 18
Missouri 15
Kentucky 11

There are some pretty cool and knowledgeable Arkansas posters around here that are fun to get into a debate with.
Seek them out, its fun to get going with them and a much more intellectually honest discussion.
