i believe in giving everyone a second chance even mizzoukills/zou animail and all the hog trolls.

As the newcomers,we've been tested harshly on SECr and responded in kind. Things happen you wish you could take back. I am not going to throw my fellow mizzou brother under the bus.

Now mitchinNWA, whole nother story.... Arky nation has to deal with that mess

although, I am in a charitable mood and will give him another chance when he sobers up

This is real stuff. It's not made up stuff.

Except for the fact that "death nail" is not real stuff.

"Death knell" is probably what you were looking for.

Death Nail is some shite that some highly intelligent person added to Urban Dictionary because nobody else actually says shite like that.

Since we lost Diggs and Nelson A we have tons of PT to offer premier WRs for 2013. We are in on a ton of them and there are a ton of good ones in FL this year. We should get 4 in the class this year.

RB is a huge question mark. Gillislee is the only one that has seen time and he's pretty good but not great. Matt Jones is a beast. Think Brandon Jacobs big. But like Derrick Henry, he may end up at another position by outgrowing RB. Time will tell.

I was pulling your chain about Henry. That ship has sailed. Even if he wanted to switch we aren't going to have room. He's yours unless he wants to come to UF as a DE, TE. He won't be in our class at RB. The coaches don't want him at RB. I don't think the UG coaches do either really but they got him to commit so that's half the battle.

Driskel and Brissett were both highly touted QBs. I hoping one of them pans out. I'm counting on Pease being a better coach and recruiter than Charlie. The latter is already true from what I'm reading.

QB will be wide open with Brissett and Driskel fighting it out. The FR won't be in the mix and I think Tyler Murphy will be moved to WR.

RB - All world do nothing Mack Brown should fight for time with Mike Gillislee. We are also moving one defensive player to RB. Chris "Juice" Johnson.
Omarius Hines will get some looks at RB too. He's big enough but I don't think he has the wiggle to get it done. He may be moved there for depth for the spring game.

The FR should see some time too, 6'3" 225 Matt Jones. He may end up too big for RB like everyone is afraid will happen to life long Gator Derrick Henry.

WTF on moving Hines around. Last year he was a TE, this year a RB. He is the only fricking Gator WR that gets open and catches the ball consistently.

Addition: Mizzou's offense will struggle this year because the SEC DCs have learned how to defend the spread after playing against Mullen/Urban and Gus spread offenses.

I really think Hines to RB is just so they can have enough RBs for the spring game. They may want to see what he can do there but I think he goes back to WR ultimately.

F the spring game. Have Burton play RB for depth.

I get that there are depth issues at RB but Hines is the only consistent WR when he gets playing time at WR. Besides Debose, he is the only proven playmaker at WR. When Hines finally gets moved from 3rd string TE to WR during the bowl game he leads the team in receiving yards.

I hear ya but can't help ya.

Here's to hoping he goes back to WR with a quickness.

Here's to hoping they're too stupid to put him back at WR

FIFY

I think we're going to give D. Henry a legit shot at RB... I've seen his highlights and if they can get him running behind his pads more he could be a BEAST. If not, he's an excellent athlete who could fit multiple roles. We shall see I guess.

IMO, Mizzou will be fine next year (we'll finish somewhere in the middle). But it'll be tough going through all the adjustments to a new conference, more difficult defenses week in week out, different locales, schemes, stadiums, travel arrangments, etc.

It'll be a transition year, but two things will work in our favor.
-We won't play 4 games against top ten offenses (Baylor, OSU, OU, TAM).
-We have an experienced QB with a multitude of weapons at his disposal.

Additionally, defense has always been a bugaboo for Mizzou; in our great years we have an opportunistic defense that is generally great against the run and pressures the passer, and in poor years we can't stop anyone from passing at will. It's too early to say what our defense will be next year, but there certainly is the potential that we'll have a starting four up front (Richardson, Vincent, Ealy, Madison) that will end up in the NFL with two first round picks (Richardson & Ealy) in the bunch. As for our depth, we're covered at end, but in the middle is where I question our ability to not drop of dramatically at the two deep. I feel really comfortable with our LB core, Wilson is a star, Ebner (if healthy) is a difference maker and Zavier Gooden's speed and versatility on the outside is a useful weapon. We've done a great job recruiting this position and are set here. Our secondary is questionable in the middle. Safety is our biggest area of concern as we lost multi year starter and team leader Kenji Jackson. On the outside we've got a legitimate NFL caliber corner in EJ Gaines on one side and multi year starter Kip Edwards on the other side who has never really lived up to his potential. He's got the measurables and hopefully will deliver this year.

All that being said I see us finishing somewhere behind Georgia in the East. Likely 3 or 4. I wouldn't be suprised though if we jumped up and competed for the East title. For what it's worth I think it is more likely we finish in the top two than the bottom two.

Mizzou will win the east next year. We'll be motivated by all the "douche" hate from other SEC schools. These comments may be "embarrassing" to other Mizzou posters, but IDGAF. Wow, did I just completely fit my own stereotype as indicated in this thread?!!!

And, no, the army of new Mizzou posters are not my alts, but I'll gladly play along as if they are! That'll be a big mind frick for any Mizzou poster arriving here for the first time...to be called Zou Animal or Kills! If I were them I'd be like what the frick? Plus, it makes for good Kilo and Breadaway conversation to waste time with.

So, anyhow...frick you, frick you, frick you, welcome new Mizzou posters, who's next?
