Fun Bowl Facts
Ole Miss has the highest bowl winning percentage of any team that has played in at least 30 bowl games in both NCAA and SEC history. The Rebels have also won six straight bowl games.

Mississippi State is 5-1 in bowl games since 2000.

Auburn is 8-2 in their last ten bowl games.

Alabama holds the NCAA record for bowl appearances with 61.

LSU is 9-5 in bowl games since 2000 and 4-1 in BCS bowl games in that same time span.

Texas A&M is 5-12 in their last 17 bowl games dating back to 1991. In that same time span, Ole Miss is 11-2 in bowl games.

The only Arkansas HC with a winning bowl record is Bobby Petrino at 2-1. The Arkansas football wikipedia page is also the only SEC West team page that does not include a bowl history section.

Why don't you sort by bowl appearances instead? After all, playing in a bowl and losing is better than not playing in a bowl at all.

Feel free to also notate the number of "major" bowl appearances, such as BCS bowls or Cotton Pre-1990.

I'll wait

Not that hard to get a good record playing all your bowls in the Music City, BBVA Compass, Motor City, Liberty, and Independence Bowls.

When you're playing shitty teams like Georgia Tech and Rice it's easy to boost up the bowl record.

LSU is 2-3 the last 5 years in Bowls.

3-3 the last 6.

You know what else is 3-3 in the last 6 years?

I mean...he's right. Not that having a bowl eligible season and winning a bowl is not a fun/solid season, but it's not like you generally end up playing anyone great.

You're telling me the University of Louisiana's bowl record is better than ULSUA&M, BR's?

I really can't explain our bad bowl history. We've lost to UNLV of all teams in a bowl game. Pretty much every coach we've had has struggled in bowls

It's not clever when cajuns try it, and it's not clever when you try it.

The go to excuse on the rant seems to be the players felt that the bowl was beneath them and thus weren't "up for the game."

So, by tRant's standards, Arky must be #1
