Ohio State still has no bowl wins, sorry

It's still a loss for y'all.
Even South Carolina beat them twice.

Arkansas followed the Sugar Bowl with an 11 win top 5 finish. Not a Harley in a ditch.

Your program is in the shitter now as a result of the Harley in a ditch.

It isn't climbing itself out of that toilet either with the fat man dropping a deuce.

And what exactly does that have to do with Ole miss not being in the Sugar Bowl in the last 44 years?

And what exactly does that have to do with Arkansas having lost the Sugar Bowl in 2011?

And what does any of this misdirection BS have to do with your atrocious bowl record?

And even Arkansas has multiple undefeated regular seasons....your point?

That South Carolina program is running your side of the conference. So again, what's your point?

As previously stated, bowl games are viewed much differently now than in the past.

Study up on the history of college football and you may learn something.

We have some of those too.
More moral victory talk though.

I wish tFlagship would accept their mediocrity. With their penchant for general buffoonery, they could become some of the best posters on the SEC Rant if they'd stop considering themselves as elite.

Oh, I guess Florida does have one undefeated season in its entire history, prior to losing to FSU.

I really can't explain our bad bowl history. We've lost to UNLV of all teams in a bowl game. Pretty much every coach we've had has struggled in bowls

Jackie Sherrill gave zero shits about bowl games too. One of the reasons our record isn't better. I think he only won 2 while he was our coach. One was Clemson and the other was aTm. We lost to UNC twice, I think, NC State and fricking Air Force.

Are you about to start crying in your own thread?

Ole Miss hasn't been to a major bowl since 1970.

Congrats on those BBVA Compass Bowl, Independence Bowl, Motor City Bowl, and music City Bowl wins though.

But hey, at least you beat up on Air Force, Marshall, West Virginia, Pitt, Texas Tech, and a sub .500 Nebraska squad

What this tells me is that the Mississippi schools are historically very undervalued.

Keep doing your thing Landmass!

Guess the rest of the SEC should be thankful these 2 schools haven't combined athletics. #hailtoddy

I think they're only behind LA in players drafted per capita. One single MS program would be a scary thing for the rest of the SEC.

Okay. Let's talk about current bowl history.

2012 Cotton Bowl - W - 1-0 in bowls, 1-0 in "major" bowls
2011 Sugar Bowl - L - 1-1 in bowls, 1-1 in "major" bowls
2010 Liberty Bowl - W - 2-1 in bowls, 1-1 in "major" bowls
2008 Cotton Bowl - L - 2-2 in bowls, 1-2 in "major" bowls
2007 Capital One Bowl - L - 2-3 in bowls, 1-3 in "major" bowls
2003 Independence Bowl - W - 3-3 in bowls, 1-3 in "major" bowls
2002 Music City Bowl - W - 4-3 in bowls, 1-3 in "major" bowls
2002 Cotton Bowl - L - 4-4 in bowls, 1-4 in "major" bowls
2000 Las Vegas Bowl - L - 4-5 in bowls, 1-4 in "major" bowls
2000 Cotton Bowl - W - 5-5 in bowls, 2-4 in "major" bowls
1999 Citrus Bowl - L - 5-6 in bowls, 2-5 in "major" bowls
1995 Carquest Bowl - L - 5-7 in bowls, 2-5 in "major" bowls

Y'all are 5-7 in bowl games, and 2-5 in "major" bowls, since joining the SEC. Three of your five bowl wins came in the prestigious Music City, Independence, and Liberty Bowls.

Since joining the SEC, Arkansas is the only SEC team to lose to Ohio State in a bowl game (they're 1-9 against SEC squads, now).

Arkansas has lost to a 7-5 Minnesota team, a 7-5 UNLV team, and a 7-5 North Carolina team in bowl games since 1992

Arkansas has one major bowl since joining the league.

Cotton bowl hasn't been major since 1991

Please pig?

Have I said our bowl record was good? No...I've tried to explain to you the past thoughts on bowl by many coaches. Which was, have fun, it's a reward. Much more competitive feel now.
