It's pretty impressive how he got back up and chased him down. He's been playing well, I was hoping he could be the first NFL player in history to be perfect on every single play of his career. Oh well.

He was such a bust he switched positions. Bama doesn't get credit for his success at OLB

Charles Woodson began career at CB. Switched to FS. Does his success at FS not count because he wasn't as effective at CB any longer?

Julian Edelman played QB in college. Switched to WR/PR in NFL. oes his success at those positions not count since he wasn't as successful at QB?

Hines Ward played QB in college. So did Kordell Stewart.

List goes on and on. It is to Barron's credit that he is talented enough to be an exceptional player at a position he only started playing this year. He is 6th in the league in tackles.

Didn't read the thread but came here to say that I am Giants fan and Collins sucks. He's a major liability out there and has more missed tackles than anyone else on the team. That whole defense needs an overhaul.

Mark barron was told his position in the nfl would be lb by many teams recruiting him Nick is the one that let him play safety in the sec west when many teams with 4.35 speed at safety already.

Miles is one that wanted him as an olb.

Wasn't Barron a RB coming out oh high school? Seems like I remember that Nick told him that his future was as a DB.

Bama has two top 10 WR. 4 of the top 10 LBers. 3 starting NFL RBs. The Highest paid non QB in the entire NFL. More pro-bowlers and all-pros then everyone else in the SEC. After this draft Bama will have the most players and starters in the NFL.

The Bama bust threads are stupid because no program has more good players at multiple positions.

Giving up 4-5 catches for 60-70 yards and no TDs and being considered torched is what makes him tGOAT.
What? On what scale?

More than the highlights and stat sheets that you look at. I watched Collins and Dix get constantly thrown at this season. Give them credit, they do make the tackle after the ball is completed against them.
That's not where they're making their tackles, ya dolt.

If these players were from LSU, the thread title would have a different meaning.....

Barron was an RB and Safety in HS. He was an athlete that was told by most that he could play wherever he wanted in college.

Nick is the one that let him play safety

Where he excelled, won a national title, was an All-American, and was drafted in the top 10. Yeah. Big mistake by Nick.

Name one. Name a single player at SAFETY in the SEC west who has/had legit 4.35 speed.

Miles is one that wanted him as an olb.

riiiight...because Miles is so good at player development.

Can anyone tell me what the hell Tyrann Mathieu has to do with this thread? Other than being the guy Rashan Johnson leads in interceptions for the Cardinals? TIA.

I brought up Mathieu, because this is the SEC Rant, not the Bama Board. If you don't like it, then next time post your fap thread on the proper board.

As a Rams fan I can confirm that Barron has been an absolute stud this year. Great pick up for us.

I bet you I can name 4 times as many good Alabama players in the league as you can name busts. Whatcha think?

Bama probably will have 3 more 1st rd picks this spring. Close to 10 drafted or make rosters.

I remember when Kareem Jackson, Mark Ingram, and Rolando McCain were considered bust. Basically if you play for Bama and don't make a Pro bowl or all Pro in your first two years you are a bust.

KJ, Ingram and McClain are busts though. They all have under produced for their draft positions.just like Barron was a bust at Safety he had to switch positions to see the field. Womack sucks. Trent couldn't hit a hole if he fell in one. Dre Kirkpatrick, bust. Terrence Cody, bust. Antoine Caldwell, bust. Eddie Lacy is turning into a bust. Javier Arenas, bust. Dee Miliner bust. That is a lot of busts for bama

It's pretty obvious you're trolling and don't actually believe what you're saying. But some Bama fans won't realize that.
