brought up Mathieu, because this is the SEC Rant, not the Bama Board. If you don't like it, then next time post your fap thread on the proper board.

Wrong thread.

Ingram and McClain are busts though. They all have under produced for their draft positions.just like Barron was a bust at Safety he had to switch positions to see the field. Womack sucks. Trent couldn't hit a hole if he fell in one. Dre Kirkpatrick, bust. Terrence Cody, bust. Antoine Caldwell, bust. Eddie Lacy is turning into a bust. Javier Arenas, bust. Dee Miliner bust. That is a lot of busts for bama

Alabama has some busts, but they also have guys that have excelled in the NFL. Dre Kirkpatrick is an example of a bust, but Julio Jones is an example of a guy who has excelled. And yes, Dre Kirkpatrick is ranked among the worst CBs in the league per PFF.

pretty obvious you're trolling and don't actually believe what you're saying. But some Bama fans won't realize that.
At this point, anyone who lets this guy get under their skin has problems. Literally all he does is troll, the topic doesn't irrelevant.

He has run for 100+ yards in 3 of the last 4 games. So yes he is the starter again.

Just don't eat me

Lacy has kicked arse in 3 of the last 4 weeks...he only got 5 carries in one of them. Lacy is still REALLY good and is playing like it. This Lacy bust stuff is 35% trolls and 65% retarded, jealous non Alabama fans. It's amazing.

Lots of people would consider him a top 10 WR overall based on skill set. His presence has completely transformed the Raider offense.

Mark Barron, DeMeco Ryans. Rolando McClain isn't far behind.

One of the signs of a bad defense is having a safety being the leading tackler.

Coop probably isn't having a top 10 season as far as production goes, although it would have been close if he didn't have that 0 catch game the other day

But if teams drafted NFL WRs next week, he might get taken in the top 10.

I don't know about 4 top 10 LBers, but they have some in and more pretty dang close.

People are confusing bust with "shite, so and so aren't the best at their position in the league!" It's MAYBE understandable with how high these guys are getting drafted. I mean, they keep going EARLY. But there are only a few real busts...and these clowns know it.

There is truth to that, but people acting like Collins and Ha-Ha give up 70 completions a season then tackle the guy are ridiculous. And that's exactly what they're saying.

This has been posted about 5 times in this thread. Two things:

1. Maybe that's the case in college - where teams attempt to be balanced - but that's clearly not the case in the NFL, which is a pass heavy league. It's also largely dependent upon the kind of defense a team runs. The Giants use Landon Collins in the box for run support for a huge portion of snaps per game.

2. Why would we give a shite how bad their defenses are? I guess they're reaping the rewards for being on teams with shitty front 7s, if that's the case.

Landon Collins is the worst safety in coverage currently starting in the NFL. One of the worst I've ever seen.

ETA: I did not read the thread past the first post.

Alabama has much better Pro players than Florida. By your standards Florida, LSU and USCw have the most bust in the NFL. Since 2000.

He has 14 drops this year so far, which is most in the NFL. Below is a list of players definitely better:

Jordy Nelson
Calvin Johnson
OBJ
Demaryius Thomas
Antonio Brown
Nuke Hopkins
Julio Jones
Steve Smith
Brandon Marshall
Larry Fitzgerald
Allen Robinson
AJ Green
Alshon Jeffery
etc...

Amari Cooper has graded out around players like Teddy Ginn Jr, James Jones and Kendall Wright - in the mid 70s. He's definitely not top 10.

Also, regarding Landon Collins:
quote:

Giants rookie S Landon Collins is bottom-four in yards allowed, YAC & TDs against. Not surprisingly, he's our lowest graded S in coverage.
per PFF.

I like Eddie Lacy. In fact, I wanted Denver to draft him over Montee Ball...who Denver cut earlier this season. I just wish he would lose some weight. Leveon Bell did so while entering the league and now he's a top 3 running back.
