Student will probably be moved to NEZ upon final product completion. The sun shines there the longest during early season games making them less desirable than anywhere else.

Meanwhile we have metal bleachers in the other endzone, no suites on the East sideline, and the last time the West side was renovated was in the 1980s. Yeah, that doesn't make sense why we would renovate the one part of the stadium that is already nice.

I'd rather use that money and update the outside of the stadium.

I'm confused. Judging by that picture, you're renovating the endzone where the students and nice club seats are?

I've sat in a couple of different spots throughout the years for LSU-OM games, and the endzone with the scoreboard should be priority one.

Ideas and actual renderings are shite. Wish we would scrap and just rebuild the west press box/add premium seating, then bowl in the north like they are talking about. SEZ is fine how it is.

We are going to be doing grandstand seating there apparently. The stadium will be bowled in. this is just a way to add more suites. The NEZ updated renderings haven't been released.

Still looks bad though.

I feel this expansion is taking away a lot o seats. We are losing a good bit of standing room only in that concourse. And now it is going to be terrible underneath the stadium now that everybody has to go under there for bathrooms and concessions.

When will these be released?

I'm not sure there are any updates in the works aside from what was released last time, with the bowl that doesn't reach even with the top row of the already existing sideline stands.

That's fine as long as they'll brick the outside of the stadium.

This makes up 2.1mil extra a year. Updating the facade doesn't. This will pay for that

They could accomplish every single one of those objectives by doing a complete Renovation to the NEZ. I do understand the need to add revenue without adding additional cost, but If your gonna build something that leaves people saying WTF, then it's probably a bad idea.

The NEZ design better be awesome and not some half arse attempt to bowl in the remaining portion of the stadium. The latest concepts look CUSA.

No... Why wouldn't you add the suites to the East side box where there are only club seats?

Everyone gets all upset at the administration when all they do is design based on funding. We threw away the Boone plan because we didn't have the funding. That's not the administrations fault. The administration tries to add new revenue streams because the fans are not giving enough on their own, and we get mad at the administration again

That's literally the worst place they could have put "club seats"

Do they not know how many bourbon drinks are thrown at the field during a game?

Why wouldn't they put those suites on top of this?

I don't care so much about the club seats. What I think is stupid is the loss of the concourse on top of the stands in the SEZ.

I would have left the SEZ alone and put those suites on the NEZ. And maybe redo the area underneath the pressbox to add new suites.

Exactly. I pointed out that Bjork hadn't really accomplished much at OM yet and got attacked on here. I guess we see what his first real footprint will be and it looks like shortsighted cheap crap that Boone would do. Bjoone.
