That's a good reference, but the situation is a Little different. Pun intended

His sister isn't just a student at ole miss. And he has two siblings here.
But Stanford is tempting as would in state Texas. But hopefully we land him

Hvae his parents lost their minds to let him choose any SEC school over Stanford?

I would just hope my kid has the common sense to choose Stanford. This isn't a jab at Ole Miss, as I would never let my kid choose LSU over Stanford

If my kid gets into Staanford, she's going whether she wants to or not

I agree. You don't turn down a free education from Stanford. That sets you up for life. Not to mention, they have done a great job developing offensive lineman. While Tunsil was drafted in the 1st round, he could have never played a down of division 1 football and still been a 1st round pick.

Ouch. Losing webster and Bridges in same year. Who would start?

Harstfield and Ordway? Jaylen Jones?

If he does, I would think that means he would have to have a great year this upcoming season. He was terrible against Memphis last year and he was covering a walk-on. He has a ton of talent, so hopefully he can be a shut down corner this year. It sucks to lose guys early, but if it's because they have great junior years and are a top 3 round pick, it's a good thing.

That rb from auburn didn't exactly have a great year and he went undrafted. Some people just want to leave.

IIRC the Auburn RB left because an expensive family illness dictated he try to get an NFL paycheck. I can't remember the specifics, but I remember reading something along those lines after the draft when I was trying to find out where Duke Williams ended up.

Peyton Barber? He was really good last year. 1000 yards and like 10-15 touchdowns.

Well Alabama just got Stanford'd. Again.

2018 4-star QB Jack West, who is a legacy and from a huge Bama family, just committed to play for them. Like I said yesterday, there's something special in regards to getting that Stanford scholarship that transcends legacy and fandom.

Peyton Barber also took a chance on NFL due to some family issues he wanted to help with.

Well, in the case of taking a Stanford scholarship over an SEC scholarship, the only thing you really need is a brain and a pulse.

Tunsil texts seem to be about scholarship money and not illegal payments. Investigation is going well. Could be wrapped up as soon as October
