Vitter is telling everybody that the NCAA found no illegal payments to LT and that this thang could be wrapped up by October

What does Viiter know? Don't y'all know that only Rosebud and Couch34 know what's going on with Ole Miss?

Ouch. Losing webster and Bridges in same year. Who would start? Harstfield and Ordway? Jaylen Jones

Add in Jaylen Julius and I think that would be our 4 man rotation. I think we go after the Abrams kid who is at Jones CC who started for UGA as a freshman. That would allow us to move Hartsfield. Hampton, Zed, Anderson, CJ Moore, Linton and Abrams as as our safeties with the other 4 at CB and Custis and Alvin at husky. Not terrible but makes you nervous with the DL we will lose.

Perhaps I'm just looking for optimism, but the scholarship thing actually sounds plausible. I know we do financial management training with athletes, so maybe players ask athletics personnel to hold onto scholarship money for players until they need it?

. Yeah. I'm reaching

He's a god damned animal and if we land him then that's 3 five star OTs in 5 classes.

Tre smith is a five star as well correct?
I like our chances with both of them, that's 2 in one class.

I believe Mrs. little is pro Ole miss as well.

I really like our chances with Smith, but like the guy said a page or two back. Little is going to have a hard time saying no to Stanford.

You never know with kids. My own son is a perfect example. He had a 2/3 scholarship at a better private school and wanted for several reasons to transfer his senior year to State to finish off college with his 2 best friends (who btw are both Ole miss fans). Even though his current college is "better paper" and me playing devil's advocate he went with his heart with the promise to me that he will never ring a cowbell So you will never know what choice a kid will make but I would go with the Stanford degree.

If we somehow got Little, Smith, and Akers, that is 3 top 15 prospects. I would think if we get a solid group around them that is another top 10-12 class. Add that to what we brought in last year and the future could be incredibly bright as long as there's no more with the NCAA. We could probably survive a 1 year bowl ban and a few more scholarship losses, but if we get what USC did it is going to be hard to compete. I don't put any stock in what Yancy says, but I'll try and be cautiously optimistic that he's not completely full of shite about hearing good things.
