I work in Palo Alto.
I would pick Oxford for the college experience and town experience all day, everyday, especially if I was a football player.
However, the pull of a diploma with the name of a top 5 university wins.

yeah that has been what most assumed with josh Clarke and a lot of his Twitter activity seems like he was trying to attract attention and really wanted validation with a LSU offer.
He has been positively recruiting for ole miss though. Most of the LSU peeps were saying he didn't fit their scheme/ they were deep at LB/ he wasn't their type of LB.
