He doesn't. Of course, people who claim it is don't know either. We know the world has been getting warmer and we know the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere has increased with it. Proving the correlation is the causation is difficult in such a complex and dynamic system as the atmosphere.

We also know the world was previously warmer than it is now, with lower CO2 levels, and vice versa.

So nothing is real? There are no facts in this world? Is that what you are trying to say? Because that is what your logic is saying.

Edit: I truly believe Bill Gates would give me an honest and fair assessment of an Apple computer and its capabilities.

CO2 isn't the only thing that can cause warming. Hence the difficulty in saying for certainty that the increase of CO2 concentration is benign or causing a global catastrophe.

First thing first. Freedom is not free.

I read to page 4 and thought, has anyone ever asked the kids if they want to be vaccinated? What's the recourse for the children if they get a disease from being or not being vaccinated? Are you as a parent ready to live with your choice if your child gets a deadly/crippling disease you could have or did have your child vaccinated for?

My wife just asked my 5 month old if he wanted the MMR vaccine at age 1. He responded with a smile and a squeal I'm told so I'll take that as a yes.

Kids are dumb and don't know anything except what you tell them which is why parents make decisions for them until they are old enough to be less dumb.

Kids are not dumb, they are not educated yet. Parents are dumb, they have the education and makes stupid decisions all the time.

Semantics, at any rate, a child is no position to be making any kind of decision like this.

No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying you have to take what someone says, and view it objectively and critically. Examine where their funding comes from, what they are trying to sell you, what their political motives might be. Democrat polls tend to swing toward democrat candidates, the same for the GOP. Why would I not take their bias into account?

Everything should be examined and never taken at face value. Issues are never as simple as either side of any issue wants you to believe. You have to weight the facts as they are presented and make a rational decision about what they mean, using both 'expert' opinions and common sense. It doesn't mean that experts should never be questioned or believed; it means they shouldn't be granted deification because they have a degree.

Your political views are beginning to make sense.

I get your sentiment, I really do. One "expert" does not a topic make. Sure. But when 99.9% of "experts" hold a common opinion, it is likely that the issue is not politically or financially driven. That is why you shouldn't listen to one doctor about getting your kids vaccinated, you should listen to 100. If 99 out of that 100 agree that vaccines are the right choice, it means you should probably listen to them.

It is important to gather facts. That is a true statement. I watch Fox News with the same objectiveness. I also watch CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, and other independent news services. If they all say that a certain event happened, or is likely to happen, I am inclined to believe them.

Skepticism is valuable to a point, then it becomes radical and ignorant.

...reckless assholes endangering the lives of others based on nothing more than quackery. And should a case of serious illness, paralyzation, permanent medical issues, and/or death be tracked down to a specific parent who intentionally and without good cause or provable hardship refused to vaccinate they ought to be sued for harm/wrongful death at the very least.

And when a kid has an allergic reaction to a vaccine and that results in the kids death. What happens then?

Better sanitation, plumbing, water supplies, living conditions ect ousted virus's like measles and polio.

It's a fact. There's graphs and stuff that show you.

This vaccination debate is a microcosm of the big picture. People can't put anything together.

The medical complex feeds the research for pro vaccination. How people can't take this into account and at least go, hmm, well there is indeed a financial agenda and here is the evidence of connections between the people making money off vaccinations and the people saying they're good.

Until a guy in a tie comes on a certified, official, sanctioned, mainstream news outlet and says 'everyone, vaccines are officially bad' (which of course will never happen), the majority will keep buying into the propaganda.

Name the last three major vaccines approved and their date of approval. For bonus credit, add their revenue versus R&D costs.
