The only family (mother, really) that is a non vaccinater is expecting their 7th kid. Parents aren't even 35 yet. Live in Cullman, Alabama. Mother is somehow a hippie and a bible thumper at the same time. They home school all their kids. While they're book smart kids, theyre easily the most socially immature kids I've ever met.
Last time I saw them the oldest boy was having a birthday and I was shocked to find out he was turning 15. I thought he was a tall 11 yr old by his actions and interests. He ended up being very creepy, he kept following around my girlfriend and getting very close to her and touching her elbow. I think she may have been the first young attractive girl he's seen he isn't related to

So I should be able to run around with a vial of virus x and pour it in people's drinks at random on an airplane while they're not looking without recourse because its a free country?
Did you also know that an implantable microchip could save your child's life if ever they are abducted, or in an accident?
In your opinion, should people be forced to chip their children as well?

I get the argument for freedom, I really do. Don't you think its dangerous to expose multiple children to potentially deadly diseases, because a single parent chooses to not vaccinate?

Your freedom extends insofar as it does not impede the freedom of your neighbor. The freedom of everyone not to be exposed to vicious diseases far exceeds your freedom to not be discomforted for 30 minutes of your life by a needle.

I've never thought about it, but you're right. Microchip technology could do wonders for locating people. The chip could also carry vital data, such as allergies and vaccination history.
But I would caution against making microchips mandatory until a pilot program has proven that they work without side affects.

This freedom has caused a once eliminated disease (measles), to outbreak in the states again.
Are you going to tell us next that herd immunity is a myth?
Edit: To be clear, I do agree it should be a choice...but and informed choice and not one made from misinformation. I personally do not get the flu vaccine and understand the ramifications of that.

People who live in a free country. We can murder unborn babies fine, but not vaccinating upsets some people more somehow.

Idiots.
That being said, it's their right as parents to vaccinate or not. The government should have no say in what goes into someone's body.

A. Not vaccinating does not guarantee you'll get the disease.
B. If these vaccinations are so effective that you'd give up your freedoms for them, then why are you worried that someone else didn't get vaccinated?

Forgive me if I missed it, but do have an argument against vaccinations themselves?

Until then, I'll remain thankful that some of us still cling to, and more importantly, understand freedom and liberty.
Oh, and you conveniently ignored my question about microchipping your child.

You're a moron if you don't think that a butt loaf of these new illnesses are not somehow related to vaccines.

That's something for public schools to decide.
