Basically what happened is a girl on the bus was disgusted by the chants and took two separate videos of it, then posted to Instragram.
My guess ^

Good for her. You have a link for that? The videos were from different seats/angles though.

You'd be surprised what the average person is capable of in that type of peer pressure setting, especially when it would likely jeopardize their standing in the organization they worked so hard to earn their way into.

If what you describe is true, the fact that this chapter had a single pledge who didn't walk out the door, after being told to "sing" this song for the very first time says all that needs to be said.
Yes....because 18-19 year olds have been known for their moral fiber.

No, my fault. I was trying to make an educated guess based on a girl's voice and what she was saying into the camera as she recorded it.

Gotcha. I couldn't hear her.

I was in a well regarded social fraternity at an SEC school and never witnessed anything like this.
Yes you did. You may not have seen something on this scale but get the frick out of here with never witnessing anything like this.

Ones that weren't raised by wolves are.
There's a difference between 18-yr-old drinking games/shenanigans and the stuff in that video.
No way most kids--be they 9 or 19-years-old--would be a part of that.

They were horrible when I was in college along with the Pikes. Kappa Alphas were pretty bad too. Do they still dress up like Confederate soldiers every Spring?

You can hope, wish, pray, and turn a blind eye all you want....
Do you even remember that age? All that the vast majority of heterosexual males of that age think about are pussy and partying.

KAs can't wear confederate uniforms anymore, so they instead wear 1860s style tuxedos

As someone who was 18 not too long ago, drunk or not, I would know not to do something like this

I doubt everyone on the bus was doing it
Do you have the balls to stand up and condemn it in front of everyone though? That is the true question.
Few people do, and that is how something like this can happen in 2015

Did you pledge a fraternity cause that's the whole point of such groups togetherness and common beliefs. If you're a pledge it's not just about you but your entire pledge class because they'll be punished for any attempts by you to deviate from the norm. This creates brotherhood and a sense of commitment despite hesitation and sometimes simple morality

This is what I'm referring to. I'm not saying at all that every kid is running around chanting that at will. As an Ole Miss fan, we've seen first hand dumb shite said/done in the name of tradition.

Meh, the fact that the culture breeds shite like this is off base to me, just my opinion
