Is it Alabama, Mississippi or Louisiana?

If you extend this nationally I think either WV or Idaho takes the cake as the most racist state.

Take away the population centers and you gotta give Missouri at least an honorable mention.

Skokie Illinois is in the B1G, not the SEC.

Indiana has their share too!

Interesting this guy from Indiana is running for some office right now…

note Cheeegrists, despite his denials he's a leftwinger, uses the same false smears as the left. GOP is racist, sexist, etc. This guy is so phony. WHen this country was racist, the racist party was Democrats. Hillary herself said her mentor was Robert KKK Byrd. Bill's mentor was segregationist William Fullbright of Arkansas.

Bills mentor was Al Gore Sr, how do you think Al Gore Jr wound up on the presidential ticket?

I second the nomination of Indiana. The KKK is very big there, especially in southern Indiana.

Racism in the North is different from that in the South. In the North, it's more apartheid-like, separate but equal. In the South, it's more like quarreling neighbors. Neighbors get on each other's nerves but everybody in the neighborhood is alike in their financial and social status.

Considering this, I think Mississippi is probably the most "rascist," equal but angry at the world.

Wut?

The topic was racist states, I listed Illinois and Indiana, nether of which are in the SEC. If you have spent any time in either, you can easily pick a racist vibe far above any seen in the "claimed" racist south. The Northern media just likes to act like their sh*t don't stink.

I know you are a Tater and all, but try to keep up.

I think they may be worse than Illinois but are just less well known, and yes southern Indiana is a hotbed of racist SOB's. Not like the local Elks club is full of blacks and jews.

you posted pics of Trump and Pence, clearly trying to link the GOP to racism. racism was never tied specifically to the south, it was tied to the democrat party south and north

SEC? I'd probably go with Alabama. Louisiana isn't really that bad because races have to live side by side.

Overall? Pennsylvania, for sure. Get out of the cities and those people put all southerners to shame.

Honorable mention: West Virginia.

I would say the same for MississipiI, blacks and whites live side by side (miles apart obviously) in so much of the state (Delta/any farming area).

I saw a lot of Vols spouting history last week, and since they like history, what better state to nominate than Tennessee. Here's to you Pulaski, birthplace of non other than the KKK.

Did you even read Kentucker's post?

You have 2 people on here who actually have spent time in southern Indiana to know the lay of the land better than you appear to. Have you even been there even once?

Pence is from Columbus Indiana is SOUTHERN Indiana. Born and raised! I have spent time in the past half century in Columbus IN, and they have some very racist folks there. If you do not understand what is actually being said, you have clearly entered a full denial stage.

Trump does very well with the Illinois Nazis. which are racist as f*ck! I was discussing the folks who will vote Trump and Pence in these two states and you infer a attack on the GOP. Clearly this discussion is too far above your comprehension level. As many of the Illinois Nazis or the Indiana Klan folks are not Republicans or have a clue of what the GOP actually is or stands for.

For the sake of the argument say I have family in the area who have been GOP for generations and are embarrassed the GOP has sunk to such low levels to have either running for the highest leadership roles in the USA. If you really are pro GOP - which I am beginning to doubt - you clearly have no clue of a GOP before Ronnie and the 1980's.

Texas has the most organized hate groups in the SEC footprint. Followed by Florida, Tennessee, then Georgia.

Then there's a substantial drop to the cluster containing Arkansas, Alabama, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, and South Carolina.

Kentucky has the fewest.

So it's...

Texas 84 More than any other state and roughly 10% of all known local hate groups in the country.

Florida 58

Tennessee 41
Georgia 39

Missouri 22
Alabama 22
Arkansas 22
South Carolina 22
Louisiana 21
Mississippi 19

Kentucky 13

If you consider Line Beards a race, Kentucky would easily shoot to the top.

Seriously tho, since Kentucky is stereotyped as engaged in sexual congress of brothers and sisters seems they want to make love, not war.

This. I lived in Georgia for two years. They aren't even subtle about it.

Close second is Mississippi.
