Someone on here once posted that white northerners like black people as a group, but not individually, and white southerners like black people individually, but not as a group.

It's a quote by William Faulkner

'In the North they love the race and hate the individual... In the South we hate the race and love the individual.'

(That isn't verbatim but it's close)

Faulkner has lots of interesting quotes on race:

'To live anywhere in the world today and be against equality because of race or color is like living in Alaska and being against snow.'

'We were children, it is true, yet we were descendants of people who read books and who were, or should have been, beyond superstition and impervious to mindless fear.'

Georgia
May be the correct answer, just because we are more populated than Bama/LA/etc. Maybe if they did it by % of the state, then it may very well be Alabama. lol

This guy I work with says gems like this:

"Those got damn ****** are the closest thing to a fricking monkey, I god damn swear"

Thing is, I don't think he is racist, just hates everyone. He talks like that about whites/asians/etc. He is an old fart too.

Well, Oklahoma allowed the KKK to aerial bomb the "black" Wall Street in Oklahoma City circa 1920.

Have to rank Oklahoma up there.

There are also lots of Nazis in Indiana.

Idaho, in particular the northern panhandle, has a lot of white supremacists who are trying to turn it into a white homeland. Many Nazis/KKK from all across the country move there.

As for WV you haven't spent 2 seconds there if you don't know their racial attitudes.

I have a 93 year old great uncle who is a Georgia Tech graduate. He once told me " *iggers are like Georgia fans. I like them individually, but as a group, I dont like them" Sorry but that was funny as hell when he said it.

Yeah, he's racist but so was everybody of his generation.

I've lived in Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi.

Georgia and it's not even close.

Arkansas.

This. IMHO not even really all that close.

The KKK headquarters is less than 30 miles away from the University of Arkansas

This is an actual billboard that you have to pass to get to the university of Arkansas

little rock isn't that bad and is pretty much your avg mid sized somewhat liberal mid sized metro politcan city. Take one step outside of little rock though and you're on your own lol

i was on my way back from tennessee one time and stopped in some small town to fill up halfway in between LR and texarkana. some kid in camo and his friends were filling up about to go hunting. I asked him "y'all got any hogs around here..." he apparently thought i was serious, looked at me like i was nuts and said "yeah, we ain't the razorbacks for nothin.'" I said "oh you're an alumni?" he looked at me confused, went and got in his truck. I heard his friend say "what'd he want?" the kid said "i dunno, just some dumb ****..."

Fortunately my gf was with me at the time, I might be in jail in arkansas for killing some knuckleheads

Hillary's mentor was Senator Byrd, a former Grand Wizard.
