Alaska's like every other State. We have our share of idiots. Most of the racism here is Native-centric. And they give as good as they get.

A few buddies of mine were fishing on the Yukon, when a Native drives up in his boat and told them, "you frickin white people are trespassing, and need to leave".
One of my buddies in that group is black. They all had a good laugh.

I'm not even playing the race card or trying to say the South is so uber racist compared to other places in the US. I've been all over this country and experienced both racism and racial harmony everywhere.
Gotta quit playing the "you're more racist than we are" game and just stamp it out where you witness it on the micro level.

well, judging by people on tRant, it would have to be Loseiana... but having dated a State girl my freshman year in college, I couldn't believe the shite people would say when we were together in Starkville.
We left the waffle house one night and a couple ol baws were out sitting on a truck. when they saw us holding hands and walking to the car one of them said "well that ain't right..." so i walked up to them and asked them "what ain't right." they didn't have shite to say, but the looks we got were nuts, and this was in 2001.

what university in the south doesn't have something named after a confederate general? pretty sure a&m's first several presidents were confederate generals.
