quote:Than Nevermind? Vs or Vitalogy you'd have an argument. Ten is good, but it was never my favorite. Of course I actually like Incesticide the most from Nirvana's catalog, probably not a popular choice for most though.
Pearl Jam "Ten" is a better album.

well it appears someone is jelly of Cobain. Cobain will make more $ this year (while dead) than the OP will make in his life.

Crown of Thorns - Mother Love Bone. Song still gives me chills. Never had the fortune of seeing Pearl Jam play it live yet.

I tend to find their music pretty simplistic, but still catchy. I don't put him on three level of a musical talent and icon that most do, but that's just my taste.

Walking through WalMarks yesterday (my #1 socks supplier) and saw Nirvana tshirts on the rack. I guess ol' Courtney Hole is still making bank off his corpse.

I spend a LOT of time in Seattle for work. That whole music scene sucks arse. Totally different than anything else.

It's a valid question, that if true, shows his opinion is worthless.
Unless you value the opinion of a cock breeder on culture.
Maybe you do?

Kobain wasn't as great of a vocalist as say, Chris Cornell, but it fit the style of music he was writing. He was a pretty damn good songwriter.

Im not shocked you are an Alabama fan.

Speaking of grunge rockers. Got to see Chris Cornell do an acoustic set and was blown away. Great show. Going to see Pearl Jam in August up in Fenway. Very very pumped for that.

Agree
Nirvana was first to usher in the mainstream grunge era but that does not make them the best.
Band-wise Alice in chains were the best IMO
Cornell's voice was the best overall.
