Birds are chirping like hell outside my house. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing lol.

Btw the mayor of tupelo announced last night that all four public shelters will be unlocked today for the tornadoes....in case anyone that reads here would need to know

Latest SPC tornado forecast. Pay attention especially if you are in that black outlined area. Those are only issued a few times a year when conditions are very favorable.

Stay safe SECR!

I hate this shite.

We're just outside the black line. I have to go outside and take down two big urns of Christmas arrangements and move a bunch of Christmas stuff down from a balcony ledge. I don't want this wind to blow my shite halfway down the block.

Ugh.

We are under a particularly dangerous situation here in the delta. Wedge Tornado on the ground in clarksdale now.

Where I'm at in sunflower county it's 79 degrees, humid, sun is shining and wind is howling about 20 mph. It just feels like it's gonna be ugly

This is some springtime shite. Record moisture down here in SE LA feeding this. The Pacific Jet is screaming over ArkLaMiss and cutting north. The SPC map someone else posted above nails the area of concern.

Shear + vertical lift = stay safe folks.

Also, Sardis Lake area has tornado heading it's way. I55 around Panola, MS might see it. Could eventually get to around New Albany area.

Do you have a path for the one that could get to the New Albany area?

The farther south you are in the Delta, the better.

Upper level winds. The brighter the colors, the more worried you should be about tornados.

I'm guessing at the location. It's about to cross into Panola County. Go to weather.gov, search your zip code, and you'll get a page. Click on the radar and click the loop button by "relative velocity". Watch the green and red that's really bright and right next to each other. That's a tornado.

Just talked to the SO and he's down around Memphis. Said he didn't hit too much coming down I-40 through Tennessee, was starting to see some rain/wind, but I think he's going to manage to at least miss some of it on the drive.

If he's heading to Oxford, he better be careful. If heading North, it's coming.

It's probably in the ground. Reports of significant damage south of Clarksdale and some North of Sardis, Ms.
