Dropped over far East Oxford into eastern Lafayette Co.
Check the velocities, it looked to be picking up steam in the last frame. Heading NE.

New Albany area folks need to take shelter now. You have a serious tornado heading your way FAST.
ETA: Especially to the North of New Albany.

That hook just south of Ripley is fricking hauling arse

Yep I remember. Michie is about a 10 minute drive from where I am right now. Hoping these heading this way don't touch down.

I am too man, it's no Bueno. She lives basically at 142 and 57, looks like the Ripley one is headed more towards her than me but that sucks equally as bad

The one around Ripley is a serious tornado.
The one about to run just north of New Albany looks very bad too, but not as impressive on radar thankfully.

Can anyone pinpoint on a map where this tornado exactly is right now?
Posted on 12/23/15 at 5:48 pm to HamzooReb
I've got one working hand at the moment but imagine a 45 degree line running from Ripley and one running from NA. If you're in between those lines, take cover.

Channel 5 is starting to report on the previous damage instead of following these storms
Local channels barely have electricity around here

Have there been and confirmed touchdowns from the Ripley or New Albany tornados? Tornado warning just started here.

YES.
Radar signature is very strong too.

Idk for sure but the wind data on the one due east of Ripley is pretty convincing BUT no debris signature which is certainly good news

A touchdown in Corinth could get really ugly. Really hoping this doesn't happen.

There's like nothing out there though.

My internet is now out so I only have mobile access now. It sounds really rough outside.
