The good news is were already losing the daytime heating. Hopefully you'll see these tornadoes start losing their steam too.

Valid point but I've heard of really bad ones showing debris in open fields, obviously not around here but it has happened

For some reason the sirens come on and then they stop for a little while. Usually they stay on the whole time.

I'm just south of the pickwick dam and am hearing a frickton of thunder and seeing the same of lightning. Looks like it will go north of me, at least the first and worst one

Sounding like this one is gonna go just barely south of Corinth so I should be okay.

Tornados are usually at the bottom of a cell correct?

IIRC Bottom right corner of a north east moving cell, and yes rotation just south of Corinth. Happy for you, not so good for me

An EF5 can pull the ground off the ground, like you're saying. Just crazy force to do that.

Bottomish.

Look at the hook echo from earlier. See the dry spot in the hook? They're around there. The rain is outflow. The tornado is the dry slot of inflow.

Sounds legit.

So both the remains cells yet to pass us still have very impressive wind shear couplets. The second one is gonna go south of me, HamzooReb, and my gf. The first, not sure about HamzooReb and my gf, maybe headed straight at her. Probably gonna go north of me but not certain

Memphis channel 5 has completely abandoned us btw

My ex has family in holly springs and corinth, a lake house on pickwick, and a hunting cabin and land right where the holly springs tornado tracked through. They are worried they haven't heard back from any of their friends or family in those areas. My best friend lives in Corinth and works for social security and he hasn't texted back since right before it hit when he was in the bathroom taking shelter

First reports of deaths coming in. Including a 7-year old. I hate Tornado season.
