Alabama has great hunting and fishing. Both have great food. LA wins on the party scene because of NOLA.

Louisiana's dining scene is much, much better than Alabama's

Can't really tell a difference, honestly, other than the accents and license plates. Of course, this is the case with many of the states (namely southern) other than Mississippi of course. They have like ONE city with a population of 100k+. That's f'ing sad.

Covington LA is the best place to live in LA I have seen....close to NO and good food.

Fairhope AL or Guntersville are the best areas to live in AL.

Coin flip!

I'd live in coastal Alabama - probably Fairhope. I enjoy the occasional trip to New Orleans but wouldn't care to live there.

I think Alabama is cleaner but we have way too many uppity folk (with no reason to be uppity) compared to Louisiana. The food drives me to NOLA at least 2-3 times a year but the weather is sticky.

Tough call.

Louisiana - Better food, better people, better salt water fishing

Alabama - better football, better freshwater fishing, less hurricane possibilities

I will stay in Georgia.

Cleanliness and general well being, I've got to give it to Bama.

But when it comes to food and fun, Louisiana can't be beat.

People from Alabama will say Alabama.
People from Louisiana will say Louisiana.
People from most other states will say no to either one.
