Mobile, AL.

ONLY because it still has some of the cajun and creole culture of south Louisiana as well as the beaches across the bay.

As for the rest of the state besides Mobile or Baldwin Co. no way!

Ala has better hunting, LA has better food. Pick em'

I put this on the other thread but ill put it here too to see what yall think:

Food: LA>>AL
Women: LA>AL (it's close)
Cities/Nightlife: LA>>>AL (not close)
Hunting: LA/AL you pick
Fishing: LA>>AL
Education: AL>LA
Business: LA>AL
Culture/Events: LA>>AL

I'd give the edge in sports to Louisiana just because they have a great SEC team PLUS an NFL and NBA team (although i personally don't watch much NBA)

its actually pretty tough i was born and raised in la so ill try to put that aside.

Alabama- has top notch yayo in ttown, nice geographical features in the north and the south has beaches. overall my favorite place bt the 2 states is probably orange beach.

LA- i love the outdoor activity on the river, LSU, party scene in nola and our food.

id side with LA but the bama coast is tough to beat

Strongly disagree on fishing. That would be a pick em' like hunting although I think hunting in AL is way better.

Anyway, for all the bad rap it gets, Mobile is nice for its access to all the best parts of AL IMO.

You've never fished the marshes of South LA. Speckle trout, flounder, and redfish by the dozens. Just watch out for Alligators and the Loup Garou.

That shite is all over AL too. If you are giving LA an edge for quantity of spots, then you have to give AL the same consideration for hunting for the same reasons.

Agree, with maybe the exception of duck hunting, maybe. I'd put Bama's fishing ahead of La's.

Here is the problem. LA is crowned the sportsman's paradise for a reason. No way you have Loup Garou.

Fair enough. But I'd bet yall never fished Guntersville, Weiss, Logan Martin, Lake Jordan, etc..

The Coosa river chain has the best spotted bass fishing bar none, Guntersville is superb. Bama has more miles of river/streams (77,000 miles), than any state in the nation, plus the Gulf of Mexico, as La does.

I'd also put the RTJ Golf trail above any others.

I'll take LA's stripe, black, white and yellow bass over spotted. I love striped most.

We have swamps. No time for golf trails.

Smith Lake. World class.

You can fish Smallmouth Bass from the Tenn River, to Stripe and Rainbow Trout at Smith, to Red Snapper and Flounder to the Gulf.
