Yea not changing what we do doesn't mean we can't improve on it. We frankly don't have to change much. Add in some more complex route trees, less personnel specific plays, and just a little more balance.

I agree. When our qb was not playing from an iron lung, we looked pretty good. A little more threat from the passing game and a qb who can stay upright and the offense should scare a lot of teams.

Good, hopefully he and Gus are scrimmage dummys for a year while we're working on negotiations with Chip Kelly.

He never looked great against SEC teams.

Ellitor would've threatened to leave about 50 times with Jangalang hounding him. He was a sensitive fellow

People need to quit throwing whole seasons down the drain just hoping for a new coach every other year.

That would be the dumbest move we could make and would set Auburn back for a decade.

We're going on year 5 dude. If Gus SHOWS NO SIGN OF IMPROVEMENT he needs to go. 8/9 wins with an effective offense and lets keep him anything less than that and he needs to go. My point with Chip though is people saying he wouldn't succeed in the SEC bc of a few games are being ignorant and short sighted.

We don't need to scrap the offense, just improve on the plays being called and add some ACTUAL passing concepts instead of just tossing out different route combinations and hoping they work. Chip seems to actually use the passing game to move the chains, not just hope he hits a HR...that is something we've sorely needed to add to this offense.

Yeah but they're are alot that would fire a coach every 2 or 3 years unless we win the sec or someone big is out there to hire. Gus has had plenty of time but Chip lived off an offense that was not effective against the sec. Ignoring that is ignorant too.

Let's hope Lindsey is Gus' choice because he is the missing piece of the puzzle we need for developing a QB and passing. I believe he can be the guy to put the talent we have wasted to better use. Stidham then Barrett could begin our own dynasty and turn Lindsey into a commodity. If he is Gus' guy because he is a yes man and Gus continues to run the same shitty offense then we need to move on.

I think this is the year Gus turns the corner and learns to be a head coach and get out of his own way.
